6s plus is the worst build quality or design flaw on screen ever.
I'm really disappointed.

And 5min later sitting in the same car the screen is cool white again? i dont think that the sunlight spectrum changes so quickly. Last time it happened i was walking on the street. And abit later the screen was fine again - and no, the ambient light didnt change on that street either during that few minutes.

and i have seen this happens only twice and when it has happened the screen was pink (you cant see the real pinkish hue on the pic though but you can see that it isnt cool white either). Normally the screen in my iphone is cool white.

there is no "making an issue" when you see that the screen is remarkably differend in colours than it was few minutes ago...
Can you try to capture and show the issue here on MR? Or is it something that is not easily reproduced?

I bought a 6S PLUS 2 weeks ago and the first thing i saw is how ugly was the screen : yellow on the half top and white on the bottom. It drove me crazy when i was watching screen with a white background. So i sent it back to the reseller. Next i've ordered a 6S and this one is better, colour is now uniform, but with a bit yellow tint.

To be honest i'm wondering if there's not a problem with the manufacturing of the last generation Iphone screen ? A kind of bendgate but applied to the screen, a "yellowgate" in fact.

Yellowgate has been in existence for a long time so it's nothing new.

Has screen quality improved yet? These phones have been on sale for almost two months now. I'm really hesitating buying another one but if people are experiencing better screens, I may take the plunge again. I hate switching between phones...

But for every bad experience I'm sure there are lots of good ones. For example, my 6 screen wasn't uniform, but my 6s+ is, and not yellow.

I'll bet there were mass threads of screen complaints when the 6 was just released as well. Heck, I even got plenty of clicking homebutton results about the 5s on here when I googled.

Yup, there were many threads regarding the iPhone 6 and its screen quality as well.

That's right.

But until now I haven't seen a pic of an iPhone 6s which has a whiter screen than an iPhone 6.

I would like to ask if it is possibile to get better screen than this one. I don't want to waste my time on swapping my iPhone on and on, so if warm screen is just a iP6S's "feature" I will stay with this phone.

The phone on the left is iP6, on the right is my new iP6S:

I don't think its an issue to be honest. Some people prefer the White balance to lean towards the Blue side, some the yellow side. You can't please everyone and like Sunking101 above, I find the colour temperature of the screen changes with ambient light anyway. It's never consistent.

Here's my iPhone 6S Plus. Left side was taken under fluorescent lighting, the right incandescent lighting. Same phone, same App. Very Blue colder white balance on the left. Much warmer on the right.

I think that happens the same to me. Do you use the auto-brightness?

i have a 6s with a warm screen. Near with other phones seems yellow. I also notice that the yellow become more yellow and less yellow when i use the phone and i cannot understand wtf is going on. i have headaches and i will try two things before i sell this phone.

1.reduce white point (it seems better for me but not perfect)
2. color profiles

That's my screen. I am enjoying it. Tbh, if you could live with that pink blotch on your iphone 6 i don't see how your new phone will bother you in any way or form.

The right side is basically how my screen is all the time. I like the warmer tint.

Hey everyone.

After confirming the yellow tint was an issue by reading this thread ( I thought it was my eyes jaundice or something!) I exchanged my 6s for a new one through Apple. Both of the devices have serial number beginning in F,but you can see the difference in the photo. There is hope out there!

Oh my god... I am confused.. I think surely that my iphone 6s change the color temprature automatically depending on ambient light!!! Sometimes the same screen is white sometimes it is beige with auto-brigthness off and at the same level [ under 50%]!!! WTF!!!

Couple of other posters in this thread have touched on this. Hard luck..

That looks a great seen from that picture. Not bothered by slightly warmer yellow screens, but your new phone produces a very clean white, not the blue tint white stuff either. Looks like you won the lottery after one exchange. Some on here have done six returns and gave up.
