Ordered at 5:20 AM EST on launch day (slept through the 3 AM alarm).

Space Gray 64 GB.

It is at the local UPS terminal as of this afternoon and will be delivered tomorrow.

You should be getting a tracking notification once the carrier has processed it, we do not have any control over that.

Once the shipping carrier has processed it, it will be sent directly to you.

Only if that is a holiday that the carrier acknowledges.

Their website should also post any delays due to federal changes and holidays.

Meanwhile throughout all of this.. It still says processing.. and im confused about the holiday thing.. are people getting a status changed or we doomed till friday?

I don't know at this point. I've been given a ship date of 9/30 by one rep, then a ship date of today by another rep, yet I'm still processing. And I can't get a straight answer about the holiday. But from looking at the UPS website that someone on this thread provided, shipment resumes on Thursday.

Oh lord. If i dont get a confirmation by friday ill do instore pick up to avoid all of this because i dont see myself being on schedule to be deliver on time at this rate.
 
Ordered 64gb grey verizon on launch day. Expected ship date was Oct 7th. My card was billed today, which means the phone should be shipping tomorrow. Verizon rep stated they dont bill until phone is about to ship.
 
UPS didn't update at 12. It was still at Annancis Island, BC. Than suddenly, I heard a knock on the door at 12:30-1pm and it was the UPS guy.

The status doesn't update real time and I didn't even know it was out for delivery! But I'm not complaining since I have my 16GB GOLD Unlocked! :D

Don't count it out yet. My confirmation almost from the start told me I'd see a 64 GB grey unlocked on Oct 10-16. As soon as it changed to "shipped", it said October 2 at noon. The phone is now one province over in Canada.

The phone also made a HUGE journey yesterday and into the wee hours of today to get here. Once marked as ready to ship, things happen quickly.

I finalized my order 5 minutes after midnight, Apple time on the 20th.

Is yours the T-Mobile Unlocked version? I ordered a 16GB Gold also but mines hasn't update to preparing for shipment yet.

Nice. I find that the UPS page is sometimes erratic on it's updates. Mine has been showing as "Import Scan" in Richmond all day. I'm still confident it will be in my hands in Calgary tomorrow, fairly close to noon.

My credit card was charged at 4pm yesterday (9/30) and the status was changed to 'preparing for shipment' at about 6pm yesterday. Now more than 24 hours later still has not changed to shipped :-(

I seem to recall reading somewhere that both white versions in 32 GB have been slow to move and even harder to find in stores. Hopefully it moves quickly. Good luck. Unless you know of a place to get one at a bricks and mortar, I would probably sit on your online order, but that's just me.

I heard due to the holiday UPS in China doesnt ship until thursday or friday

My shipment was changed to preparing for shipment at around 4pm EST yesterday. Its been more than 28 hours already, so I don't think the 24hr timeframe is valid :confused:
