My Gold 32GB has definitely been 'lost' by UPS. I called Apple and they are investigating and also sent me a free leather case. I hope for a quick resolution and replacement.
Atlantic Canadian too, huh? I'm holding out hope that the wind warning issues for today for some parts of eastern Canada's flights was just mistakenly tacked on to our orders. Otherwise, I don't understand how weather can delay my package on a sunny day when it's already landed in my province.
My Gold 64 is lost by UPS as well. It was scheduled for delivery on Oct 1 and the tracking still says it's out for delivery since Oct 1 8:24am with no update. I waited until midnight and no sight of UPS. This morning I called Apple and they said to wait until Oct 3 (which was the original delivery date according to Apple). Did anyone else experience this?

Call UPS and see if they can locate it. I had mine held at the customer center and they lost it there, it was not on a truck. If yours is on the truck to be delivered today they should be able to confirm that.
I just called apple and they were useless. Was told that "well, there are 2 more business days, so you should get it by the date promised". "i'm sorry you will have to wait, there is nothing I can do for you"
It has been far too long since UPS has updated our orders stuck in Korea. There are people's phones that got there on the same flight as ours and now they're out for delivery, yet our phones are just sitting there??? This is definitely lame.

My Deliveries app says my phone will be delivered on Monday vs yesterday it said the 10th so I'm guessing it'll switch to prepping for shipment today or tomorrow then blam! Here on Monday! My case is prepping for shipment
I have never bought anything from ANY company who gave me a shipping date range, and literally waited until the last day (maybe, who knows at this point when they'll ship it) to ship the item. I've never experienced this in my life. So, the story about the holiday not affecting the shipping was BS. Because there is no way I will get the phone between 7-10 if they don't ship by tomorrow.

It looks like the Moncton and SJ deliveries are going to happen today, but my Fredericton one isn't confirming delivery today. I have no clue what happened to even cause they delay in the first place.
Just curious...did you expedite your shipping? I did not, so perhaps those that are seeing movement did. Perhaps that is the difference? Like I said, just curious to know what others who are in the same boat (or plane) did regarding shipping.

I remember the same issues with the iPad and the iPad mini releases.
Deliveries app is awesome. You can track Apple.com purchases, Amazon.com orders and packages from Fedex, UPS and USPS. One of my first app purchases on the Apple App store.
Your not alone! 32gb Gold AT&T. Ordered though apples site @ 3:10am. Been stuck at "preparing for shipment" since 9/30 @ 6pm. Credit card has been charged
I never called Apple and asked for that. From what I read it wasn't supposed to make a difference. Maybe you're right though. I hate calling any kind of support usually cause I really don't feel like bothering them but if that's the case I regret not doing it.
Deliveries by Junecloud. It's expensive but accurate.
Also I wouldn't worry about it getting here on time. If it doesn't ship by tomorrow, guess what it's their fault and they have to compensate even further. I understand that there is a phone shortage which is why I'm on the patient side. I wouldn't worry about the holiday, again it's not our problem. They gave you a delivery date range so as long as it gets there by then I'll be ok. Of course it's nice to get it early but not necessary.
