I just hoped that by now, an order placed on September 22nd would have a "delivered by" date. Last year when I ordered my 5, that was already (I believe) on October 8th. At that time, they were able to say "shipping in 3-4 weeks". I got that phone on the 31st of October... so actually a little early.

This whole non-disclosure/vagueness treatment, is what irks me. If indeed it arrived again on October 31st, then I'd be bitching at Apple up the wazoo.

My AT&T Silver 16 (ordered through Apple on launch 4 hours after they went on sale) changed to "shipped" today. I was told 7-10 but I selected 2-3 day shipping at check out anyways. UPS says it should be here Friday.
 
I just received an email from Apple regarding my lost/stolen iPhone. They are sending me a replacement device. "Your replacement iPhone 5S will be expedited under your current order number". I now show "Available to Ship: October". Should have had this phone yesterday. Thanks so much UPS! :mad:

I called UPS and they are not able to track it or investigate it until Apple calls them.
I called Apple and they said I needed to wait 72hours.

I would call Apple again. I did not have to wait 72 hours. They initiated an investigation last night for me.

12:15 16gb att gold still processing...this order is dust. dont think its coming


my 12:19 16gb silver already arrived last week. what gives

So just for a recap ...
Are we saying that the phones for people who's status changed to preparing for shipment on Monday, but haven't seen any chance since..actually have been shipped and en route even tho apple hasn't updated status or provided any shipping info?

Are we also saying that, even tho UPS says that it's closed untill tomorrow(the 4th in china), planes are in fact in the air with iphone deliveries?

I'm in the same boat. My gold att iphone still is processing too. 16gb just like yours. I'm thinking later today or sometime tomorrow for shipping.

I'd say next week you might get a date change. Being that it's October now :)

Yes. My phone left foxconn and was delivered to korea on the 1st on a UPS flight. It left korea on the 2nd and is heading to anchorage.

The next scheduled flight is on the 3rd. I would expect more updates to roll into tonight through tomorrow.

Oh and to the first part, yes and no. Some have found they their phone indeed did ship using track by reference. Others not so much.
 
I ordered on 12:06 AM, 32GB Gold AT&T

Received shipping email this morning, but according to UPS, my phone won't be delivered until October 8th LOL.

This is a complete joke.

That can very well change. My data changed from the 8th to the 4th. A couple here had there's changes to dates before me as well. UPS is really screwed up right now.
 
so my shipping just updated to oct 2-7 but it still says processing. It was originally in the 7-10 shipping frame due to arrive oct 8-11. I really dont get it

I actually called Apple twice...what's deceiving is that the UPS tracking still says it's in route.

Received a shipping notification email from Apple this morning for a 16GB 5s Gold. Supposed to arrive here (TX) Friday the 4th. Thumbs up.

i called up apple rep. and said it's already 10th business day. so may i know by when will my iphone be shipped..he told i cannot tell it but if you want i can upgrade your shipping and then it updated to oct 3-7. It was originally in the 7-10 shipping frame due to arrive oct 8-11.
and mine also still says processing...

OMG! i guess we will never know. Whenever i call, my calls are always forwarded to a specific supervisor who will be handling all my information from now on. Since they already gave me a free car charger that i wanted ( no case because i think they are unflattering to the phone) i haven't called back. Looks like it should be shipping soon. It went from oct 8-11 to oct 7-10 and now oct 2-7, quite a few updates and i still have next day shipping.
 
Processing

Ordered my AT&T 32gb silver at around noon ( 12 hrs after launch ) with the 7-10 day ship time. I checked at 5am and it was 7-10 as well.
I thought I would just check around town at Best Buy..apple...etc. Nobody had them of course ( except Sprint phones ) so I placed the order.

What I am not understanding is why people are complaining about not getting theirs yet...it says 7-10 days...So isn't Friday the 10th day? ( going by M-F )If it does not ship by then, believe me...I will be ticked ( to put it lightly ) ;)

BUT, here is where I am ( already ) a bit mad...some stores are getting them in daily...how can this be the case? You would think those of us loyal customers that ordered within hours would get ours shipped first.

It is Thursday in China now...( well barely ). Hopefully I see a change soon.

I am thinking of calling too...may as well try for a new case ( why not )...Yes, it says 7-10 days so they are living up to their side so far...but, my point will be that they are shipping UNSOLD phones first. :cool:
