Per UPS: "We have a contractual agreement with some shippers, which limits the amount of packages that can be handed over to UPS on any given day, when this amount is exceeded, as in this case, the packages may experience delays. We need first to complete those packages that were given to us in previous days before we can export those that were recently shipped. My best advise is to keep on tracking the package on ups.com for further updates."
Lol that's a crock of **** for the group of us that have already got delayed by a day in ZZ, and now 2 days in Incheon lol

That should mean the 8:01 group should be shipped because the wave before us get their phones today.

im in the 8:01 Korea group. Called 1800pickups and it said scheduled for delivery today LOL If it actually shows up today it would be a miracle.

And also when I chatted with a rep on UPS.com on tuesday (when my delivery switched from Wed to thurs) the rep guaranteed delivery by wednesday. I even asked are you sure? It's showing thursday for me. He said no sir I guarantee you will have it tomorrow. so much for that.
How hard is it to have actual updates? I know broken planes, full planes etc are out of their control, but why can't they at least be truthful and update us?

Ppl getting mechanical failure messages. Were any of these 8:01 group. I'm 8:01 and haven't gotten that message.

Lot of whining from people that actually have real phones enroute to them.

Meanwhile I ordered seconds after or before some of you and PROCESSING is still my story.

I predict 8:01s will hit US soil. Certainly looks like it. Whether fast enough to get to your door step tomorrow, TBD.

Judging from your posts, you got a ship date of Mid to Late october. This "whining" is coming from people who literally got in the first wave that haven't received their phones yet (9/26 - 10/3 and maybe some early oct people). You ordered prob 30 minutes AFTER us.

Nope. Seconds.

Meanwhile I'm at Newark now, just saw a UPS jet roll in... Wonder how many of your phones were on it..lol

I called 1-800-PICKUPS and did the automated tracking and it says delivery set for tomorrow. (Online it shows unavailable date). Not sure what to believe anymore since it was originally supposed to be here on Wednesday

Thanks for the tip. My delivery date shows unavailable online, but this number says it will be delivered tomorrow. My phone has been in Incheon for nearly two days.

I'm in the 9/26 group and I think the levels of worrying and complaints is absurd.

I would say those of us that were in the 1:05AM ZZ, China group can kiss delivery this week goodbye...

Incheon, Korea, Republic of 09/23/2016 4:24 A.M. A mechanical failure has delayed delivery. We're adjusting plans to deliver your package as quickly as possible.

Did you have a second departure from Zhengzhou at 7:35PM?

My out of my butt hope is that they actually sent our phones to Shenzhen and we are on UPS77 just about to land in Anchorage..... :)

It's 530am currently in Korea. Maybe in an hour or 2 you 8:01 IR group and us 105zz group can all get on planes that work and get to us by Friday our time. Keep hope alive

We all did. Think that was just a time zone thing why is shows arrived in Korea and then departed china.

Just checked flightaware, there are 2 flights from Korea to Anchorage tomorrow, I assume the one that was supposed to go out today failed on them so there will be 2 tomorrow?

That's great. What times did it say?
interestingly enough it's not UPS99. If my assumption is correct, it doesn't do 8:01 group any good but the group before us will see movement tomorrow. Still, I guess its better than pushing every batch back for one day.

There's not another flight leaving Korea for another 13 1/2 hours.

Probably one to pick up the 8:01 group that should have gone out today and one to pick up the 1:05 group that would have probably been pushed back to tomorrow anyway.

Btw, there must be a large batch scan since we all have the same time stamp of 8:01pm. There must be thousands of us waiting on a damn pallet. This is getting out of hand!

that was me... yup! still in Incheon...

and for whomever was pointing out that we're all getting our panties in a bunch is absolutely right, but just because we had a later original estimate doesn't mean we can't be frustrated with how this is playing out. I got up at 3am to place an order just like almost everyone else here, and due to my configuration, location, and probably a bit of luck, I've been marked as "shipped" since Monday, with Apple quoting me a delivery by tomorrow, 9/23. UPS has continually updated their timeframe from Wednesday, to Thursday, to "F U, I won't do what you tell me..."

Now, ALL of this is WAY earlier than my 10/4-10 original estimate, and there's no question that this is awesome that I'm (possibly) receiving a phone so early, but it's a bit disheartening that the logistics behind the scenes appear to be in utter chaos. Apple should have figured out a way to get these moving more quickly, as the bottleneck is clearly on the outbound side - so whether that means hiring additional planes (which Apple HAS done in the past!) or using multiple carriers (DHL and FedEx come to mind as two very competent and experienced logistics companies), it doesn't seem like this was handled as well as we've come to expect from Mr. Cook (who has been considered a master in understanding distribution), and possibly to a lesser extent, Ms. Ahrendts...

I understand your frustration sir. I'm right with you.
