I just talked to a CSR rep for Apple a couple of minutes ago. And he couldn't not edit my shipping to next day on his end. He placed me on hold and tried to research it. Congrats on getting ur shipping updated.
 
Funny idea. Just wait for the October MacBooks. If you don't want one, just walk into a store and buy a Jet Black iPhone.
All the hoopla about launch day deliveries are done since the iPhone 5s.
My iPhone 6 is fine, even with iOS 10.

I def didn't know. What your saying is that someone could switch to tmobile with this phone and it be faster than the tmobile variant?

Honest question: Let's say a decent amount of people can actually buy a Jet Black 7+ on launch day at a store. Meanwhile, only the pre-orders placed on Sept 9 between XX:01 - :05 are fulfilled for launch day delivery.

Do you feel shafted (Yes/No) & (why/why not)?

Now that's interesting... why would they be able to change one person's shipping method and not another's?

Yes, somewhat. Being that I was awake and refreshing on both my phone Apple Store app using LTE and on my computer with Safari over Wi-Fi from XX:55 to XX:07 before I was able to access the store. I already had the right model favorited and all of my billing/shipping info saved from earlier.

By the time I added to my cart and started checking out, the AT&T eligibility checker gave an error and I had to repeat. Got confirmation e-mail at XX:12 and sitting at 2-3 weeks delivery. None of that was "my fault," so yes, I would be irritated. That being said, I've lived with this phone for a year and I can live with it for 2 more weeks.

No shafted feeling UNLESS there are more than 20 jet black 7+ available at each launch store. Because, my friends and I camped out previous years and know how much sleep time is sacrificed to get a first 20 iPhone choice.

yeah I mentioned that to the apple customer service rep. I don't know ......was anyone else's able to add next day shipping to processing orders by calling Apple customer service today ? I called right at 7am eastern time

i still have not see anyone with a 9/16 ship date for the JB 7+ only 7s. sounds more and more like its going to be the ween between the 26th and the 30th for me.

The whole "expedited shipping" story is definitely a YMMV experience. Just got off the phone with a rep (a guy, not girl if that means anything) and was told that expedited shipping may not affect anything at all. He wasn't offering it for free either. Wasn't really looking to spend $13 to find out.

He also said that "Delivering: Sept 27-Oct 3" was a great estimate already. Just thought I'd put that out there.

Ordered at 3:05 AM EST right after store opened with Apple Pay. I got 9/22-9/29.
