So I tested out the other international sites and these don't work either they are all down:
UK
Sverige
Suomi
Suisse
Schweitz
Osterreich
Norge
Nederland
Luxembourg
Italia
Ireland
France
Espana
Deutschland
Danmark
Belgique
Belgie
As seen on: http://store.apple.com/Catalog/US/Images/intlstoreroutingpage.html?cid=AOSA10000022132
I said it before, I'll say it again. You don't take down an entire web site to change a graphic!
UK Store is back, a search for 'Mac Pro' now gives ZERO results:
Results for: mac pro
No items were found that matched your query.

OK the UK store is back up and I can't see anything different........ How disappointing![]()

Yeah, but you might if the site had been hacked, and you wanted to make sure the holes were patched properly before you put it back up.
OK... SO... 8-core gets released tomorrow, the rush of pent-up demands sees a big wave of purchases, the machines get shipped with Tiger.
Then, 30 days later, when that first wave of buyers can no longer threaten to return their Tiger-loaded machines, Leopard gets released and they all have to pay to upgrade - all for the privilege of being the first kid on the block with 8 cores.
C'mon, we all knew this was how it was going to play out - new hardware and a new, must-have OS never get released within the same 30 days.
Personally, I'm hanging on for the software.
All european stores seem to be back online without any major changes.
They are still not accessible from the US store website. Oddly, when you add .woa at the end of the non-working links they work normally.
The difference is is their search engine doesn't seem to be working.Sounds like some webbies are doing some database re-working.
Nor are there any search results for the following terms:
iMac
mac
MacBook
MacBook Pro
Mac Mini
