8 Plus battery life...

Battery life is great on my 8+, I can make a full day without worrying about charging the battery. A huge difference compared to my old 6s.

Figured I would try low power mode out. I’m impressed! This is 90% on WiFi and 10% on lte.
 
I just got my 8 plus a few days, came from the galaxy s9 plus. Battery life on the iPhone 8 Plus can’t compare to the s9+.

Does the battery on the iPhone 8 Plus get better after a week or so?

The S9+ took only 3 days to stabilize the battery and it last much longer the 8+ I got now. Hope it will get better. I like iOS.

And iPhone users, including the 8 plus, have until end of 2018 to replace the battery for $29 bucks right?
If that's true, I'd spend $29 in December and have apple replace the battery.

I think Apple said the tech in the 8 and x were different and are not part of that replacement program .
 
Is there much difference between the 8 and 8+ on battery? I have seen some review tests saying there isn't much in it nowadays.

A week seems long but the first couple of days definitely need more power than usual if you're installing loads of apps, photos etc.

I usually hear the exact opposite to your experience. The 8+ is usually the one that kills all the competition battery wise.
I’ve never had a phone which easily goes through 2 full days of use until I got the 8 Plus.
Maybe you achieved a faulty unit?

I am always very impressed with the battery life on my 8 Plus. I am a moderate to heavy user and always end each day anywhere between 40-50 percent of battery left. Amazing! I’ve never had this phone die on me nor am I’m even concerned that it won’t get me through a whole day. It does that easily!

Podcasts for 3 hours, music for an hour, some pictures and a bit of google maps.
 
SkyQ t.v. Watching early a.m. news , maybe light browsing.(38%)i.e. highest app battery use yesterday.
Recently purchased 8 Iphone -12hrs53 secs Use
21hrs53mins standby.
Top up usb charge from low 60% to 100 this morning.
