8+ seems to be the superior phone over the X

Went to apple store and compared my x with display ones and every display one was so much darker and i checked for auto brightness etc but mine was brighter but they are all yellow tinted its driving me nuts its making me not enjoy the new phone and i dont wanna keep swapping for a good one cos i think they are all off balance, all could be fixed if apple let us set the white levels

You are confusing blue and white. Properly calibrate displays look warm to people who are accustomed to seeing cool (blue) displays for so long. The display is accurately balanced. It does turn blue when viewed as an angle, which is what you are calling white.

I upgraded to the 8 and i returned it for the 8+. This was when regret started to kick in wishing i waited for the X. When i got my X, it felt like i was using an 8 but without the home button. Coming from an iphone 6s, the 8 + feels like the real upgrade.

have you tried turning off True Tone?
Settings-> Display & Brightness-> True Tone

when i turn that off.. it looks super blue to me.. but to you, maybe it will look right.?

Better than the 7 plus, but not the 8 plus.

And with everyone returning the X's, it seems the 8 plus is the king.
 
Keep thinking that....not all new phones are better.

X owners keep trying to protect their purchase of the flawed beta phone. People who have owned both are the proof it isn't as good as the 8 plus in many things. We know you X owners spent more. No need to justify it. But stop thinking your phone is better because its more expensive. It's not.

Not sure who everyone is because my X isn’t going anywhere. I guess the same people returning them are the ones that said nobody would buy the X.

End of the day you’re happy with the 8 plus, cool. I’lm happy with the X, cool.

Lol ya so far overall pry the X from my Cold dead hands. Or until I sell it for whatever I get after down the road
