How can you see your DPD driver on a map? My pencil is arriving today, and on DPD tracking I have a time slot but nothing more than that.

If you track it via the web you should be able to see a map with his little van "moving"!

It's really quite good.

Stressful for the driver, though!

If it helps, my ipad has only been collected so far. I don't think there will be much more action today. When did you order yours and did you pick engraving (that could delay things)??

I was actually going to cancel the order, because of the whole 2GB of RAM issue (a liberty, on Apple's part).

But now I'd love to upgrade ...

But my pencil is out for delivery today and I can't see him on the map! I have his name and a time slot that opens in about 30 minutes but no map and I can't see how many deliveries he has before me. So odd

that is a bit odd. also, you should be able to see the little map on your phone as well. i had a dpd delivery a few months ago and i tracked the little vans journey on it).
but i think, as long as you have a delivery slot, that's pretty good.

Oh yea this is a first world problem for sure, I was just curious. But I must admit it would be pretty cool to see the driver on a map I wonder if Apple paid for cheaper shipping for the pencil ...

I just read their returns policy, and it states that undamaged items must be in a "saleable" condition. But you know what some of these companies can be like.

Have you ever returned an opened electrical (computer/tablet) item to them, and received a hassle free refund?

If there are issues with the iPads I receive from Apple, I might buy from John Lewis instead.

That 2 year guarantee is superb ...

I have returned opened home appliances to John Lewis and it went all seamless. I returned a used telephone set as well, no questions asked, they gave me full refund.

I rarely see the driver on the map anymore, and I have no idea why. I used to see it all the time, but I'd say the last 20 parcels I've had from DPD didn't show it in tracking -- just the scheduled delivery time, where the parcel had been, etc. It's nothing to worry about if you don't see it; as long as you have a time and it's "out for delivery," it will turn up.

In fact, when I got my Galaxy S7 on launch day, I didn't even get a time or "out for delivery," and it still showed up. But I think that must have been a rare glitch.

The drivers are probably sick of being tracked so closely, and cover the tracking radio with silver foil .

Ah hey! I couldn't pop back a couple pages to quote you earlier haha! I really hope that you enjoy your case & smart cover though mate, honestly do! It may be expensive but you need to treat yourself sometimes & I know Apple cases are obviously going to be quality products but for a case I just can't - personally!

The delivery app shows that my iPad has arrived in my local depot at around 1am. Not long now until it will be out for delivery.
Hopefully I won't have to wait til 3pm again (like yesterday). I'm one impatient woman
