Can anyone remember how to use the Syncreon tracker? This is Apples distributer if they ship from within the UK, as in not using UPS all the way from China.

You need an order number and customer number, one of them is the W number and I can't remember what to use for the other one but if anyone knows it might show that iPads have been shipped!

Link might not work, if not just google Syncreon and click My Order.

The iPads will ship tomorrow from Hong Kong.
The flight is 5X001/ups1 at 17:40 local time to Cologne, Germany (that's the ups hub in Europe for all the apple products) there will be a flight (another ups one) from Cologne to London in the early morning after arrival. Forgot when, but you can find it out easily :)

Out of interest why have you ordered an SE if you already have a 6 Plus.

I just don't need the big screen anymore.

The SE offers me all that I need from my phone but in a more manageable size :)

I must admit as much as I enjoy my 6s Plus I am half tempted to 'upgrade' come September to an SE.

Until then? Can't wait to get my hands on my iPad Pro 9.7"... Estimated to deliver between 1/4 and 5/4 for me.

Fair enough. Just wondering. :)

Personally I can't see myself downsizing to a 4" display as I've got so use to having a 5.5" display. The Plus is not as practical size wise to carry around or to use but the pros outweigh the cons for me.

Does anyone know if iPad Air screen protectors will work with the pro? And if it will affect the sensors used for TrueTone? And any recommendations for screen proctors would be good, I've seen reviews saying the pencil can do damage with even tiny specs of dirt on the screen becoming abrasive

I'm looking at Mresell but I'm really not sure. Certainly my price would be significantly better than Cex but at least they have physical stores.

Decisions decisions.

I don't see why the screen protectors won't work. The iPads are the same dimension. Whilst I can't say for sure I don't think the True Tone would be affected as the sensor is not in the display itself. As long as you're using clear HD screen protectors the True Tone shouldn't be affected.

Yea that would make sense, it will be interesting to see if manufactures add a cutout for the TrueTone sensors in the future. Thanks :)

I don't think there is a separate sensor for the true tone looking at the images and tech specs on Apple's site. I suspect it use the already existing ambient light sensor. If that's the case there should be no need for a separate cut out.

Actually that is very true, I'm not sure why but I thought it might need to be larger than the current one but not necessarily

If anyone wants a Smart Keyboard at cost (plus shipping) for their new 9.7"er but didn't order one (and now faces a 1-2 week wait), send me a PM.

I ordered one (and an iPad) but have decided I really shouldn't be spending the money and cancelled the iPad, while the Keyboard is arriving today.

Anyone seeing shipped yet? Or anything using UPS track by reference?
[doublepost=1459235214][/doublepost]Anyone know why I don't see delivery dates next to the preparing to dispatch message? Same for the iPad. In all the screenshots shared on here everyone has a date of delivery on this page, very odd

So I ended up ordering 2 128GB's in Silver (WiFi).

I ordered 2 because I wanted to increase the probability of receiving an Apple device without dead pixels (did the same with my iPhone 6: One was perfect, the other had dead pixels).

Also bought the Silicone Case & Smart Cover in Midnight Blue.

I actually got a good deal on the Silicone Case & Smart Cover. If there are issues with both of the iPads they will be sent back, and I'll go without (I got bored of playing the "exchange game" with Apple, years ago).

If I do end up sending the iPads back, I might sell the Silicone Case & Smart Cover.

They will be brand spanking new, and unopened.

Keep this in mind, if you're in the UK ;-)

Smart Keyboard is useless, I don't recommend it. No matter which key I press, nothing happens. Am I missing something?

Enough silliness, keyboard has arrived, 48 hours before the iPad, think I'll practise folding it.

Getting excited now! (32Gb WiFi, Space Grey) Still showing PFD, but scheduled to be delivered 31/3.

Production week : -12- (March)
Production year : -2016-
Factory: DM (China - Foxconn)

Anyone know when availability changed to 3/5 days for new orders? I thought supplies were pretty plentiful?

Also, anyone know if my Logitech Bluetooth keyboard for my iPad Air will work with the pro? Obviously it'll be able to connect and be usable via Bluetooth, just the magnetic attachment when it's in the 'closed' position?

It changed yesterday morning, for all variants.

I don't think it's anything to do with the stock levels, just that the launch date is getting closer. I would imagine all versions are still in stock.

They changed to 3-5 days in the US store at the same time. The only version that I think is genuinely out of stock is the 128GB Wi-Fi + Cellular Space Grey one in the US. That's showing as available in 6-8 days.

Where did you buy them from out of interest?

As posted before me it was sometime yesterday.

Pre-ordered mine late morning and is estimated to ship between 1/4 and 5/4.

Still showing as Processing on the order section in the app.

Don't blame you. While arguably a selfish thing to do during supply constraints if they improved their QA you wouldn't have to.

Anyway - if this is a thing you do often have you had any issues with returns? I.e. having too many on your account?

(I'm getting concerned because I have a few returns on my account (albeit only a small fraction of the £5k+ spent on it each year) from silly things like a store getting stock before my order arrives, and buying a watch for a technically-illiterate friend who decided to return.)

If having to buy 2 of a premium (pricey!) device because I have received so many defective units in the past is "selfish" in your eyes, then we obviously see things differently.

If every Mercedes or BMW that I bought arrived with scratches, would that be acceptable?

I received 2 (top of the range) iPad Pro's, with dead pixels. Why should I keep them?

I received 2 iPhone 6's, and one had dead pixels.

For a premium product, with a premium price tag, 3 out of 4 units being sub par is completely unacceptable. And we are speaking about devices which are predominately a screen!

However, the reasons for which you returned your items were completely different. They had no defects, from your explanation. Selfish, maybe?

Anyway, I'll return items all day long if they arrive with defects.

Only then will we have any hope of these companies addressing their QC ...

Woah, chill out... I said 'arguably selfish when there are constraints' (there aren't with the new Pro), 'I don't blame you' and 'if they improved their QA they wouldn't have to'.

How you interpreted that in any way other than agreeing with you is beyond me...

I was merely asking if you've had problems with returns. I guess the answer is no.
