Woah, chill out... I said 'arguably selfish when there are constraints' (there aren't with the new Pro), 'I don't blame you' and 'if they improved their QA they wouldn't have to'.

How you interpreted that in any way other than agreeing with you is beyond me...

I was merely asking if you've had problems with returns. I guess the answer is no.

"Chill out"?

"How you interpreted that" as me needing to "chill out" "is beyond me...".

I calmly, and collectedly responded to your question?

Anyway, let's hope that these iPads (both mine, and yours) arrive defect free.

Agree?

When you're paying this much for a device, you'd rather expect that they'd all be defect free!

Getting excited now! (32Gb WiFi, Space Grey) Still showing PFD, but scheduled to be delivered 31/3.

Production week : -12- (March)
Production year : -2016-
Factory: DM (China - Foxconn)

When did you order?

Assuming yours does come on the 31/1 it should change to shipping much later today / early tomorrow

Let's hope so! My pencil has just shipped for delivery tommorow so at least following the DPD driver tommorow will pass time! :D

Anyone know when availability changed to 3/5 days for new orders? I thought supplies were pretty plentiful?

Also, anyone know if my Logitech Bluetooth keyboard for my iPad Air will work with the pro? Obviously it'll be able to connect and be usable via Bluetooth, just the magnetic attachment when it's in the 'closed' position?

Whilst the bluetooth connection should work i don't think the keyboard will physically connect to the iPad as I believe the magnets are in a different position on the Pro compared to the Air due to the smart connector. I also have a Logitech bluetooth keyboard for my Air 2 which acts as a front cover when not in use using the magnets. I'll try it when I get my Pro but I'm not holding my hopes up that it will work. Same with the Air smart cover. It in all reality probably won't work.

My bank card previously had a hold for the amount of the iPad Pro 9.7" but now that amount of £619 (I got the WiFi 128gb) has been taken. Somethings happening!

Edit: DISPATCHED!

Edit 2: UK Mail are delivering mine.

Just checked and my iPad is now marked as despatched :D

DPD are delivering as well

Mine also shows as dispatched as of the 27th for delivery on the 31st by DPD. I also have a tracking number now too.

Edit: The tracking doesn't work yet on DPD's web site.

Pencil arrived last week (DPD)
Case and cover arrived today (DPD)
Keyboard arrived today (UPS)
iPad dispatched and arriving 31st (UKmail)

So obviously delivery companies are nothing to do with address!!!!

I'm not sure how but the logistics company Synchreon manages hardware deliveries for Apple in the UK. They allocate the various packages to specific courier companies for delivery but I don't know how. There is no rhyme or reason in the way they do it.

Dispatched with DPD.

Is there any hope that these will be delivered tomorrow? Obviously DPD, UPS and UKMail need only one day to deliver and if they're given to them by Apple today...?

I had planned on spending all this evening just checking the status of my order over and over... i'm at a loss of what to do with myself now :)

I'd think its possible some could get delivered tomorrow.
I would be shocked if anyone took delivery tomorrow. Apple make the couriers hold the deliveries until launch day - and they would get a big wrist slap if they failed to comply!

Have been buying Apple products on launch day (and following threads like this) for a long time and very very rarely has anyone received their device early.

The iPads will ship tomorrow from Hong Kong.
The flight is 5X001/ups1 at 17:40 local time to Cologne, Germany (that's the ups hub in Europe for all the apple products) there will be a flight (another ups one) from Cologne to London in the early morning after arrival. Forgot when, but you can find it out easily :)
Any update on the plane - haven't been able to spot in flight tracker or planefinder.
Edit - got a DPD tracking number - what/ when can you track with this?

I only pre-ordered mine yesterday when shipping times slipped from 31/3 to three-five working days.

The pre-authorisation hasn't taken place on my Santander credit card (yet) so am hoping something will happen either tomorrow or Friday.

I don't normally get deliveries from Apple on launch day as I usually just reserve and buy it from the Apple Store but I don't see what would be so wrong if they delivered early. I certainly wouldn't mind! :)

My iPads have now been dispatched.

Delivery on Thursday (31st) by DPD.

This suits me perfectly, as they will be delivering my Silicone Case & Smart Cover at the same time (the covers were due for delivery tomorrow, but I rearranged for Thursday to coincide with the delivery of the iPads).

Glad it's DPD: That 1 hour slot is superb.

I actually enjoy the build-up to receiving Apple stuff, more than the stuff itself!

Much like the countdown to going on holiday ...
