nobody cares. can we ban articles on this stupid movie already???
Agreed.
The next article I want to see should have the opening date and the movie trailer.
Until then... they need to hush.

I would share what I think is your doubt about Jeff Daniels, until I had watched The Newsroom. Shows what the guy is capable of.
I was pulling for Tom Cruise to be cast in this role from the beginning. While he surely would have been an unpopular choice (initially), he would bring a unique Jobsian intensity to the role! Sorkin was right.
Disappointing to me that it didn't pan out with Cruise.

Some people care. Some don't. Applies to pretty much any other article similarly where some people care about them and others don't. What a crazy concept, isn't it?Agreed.

Some might, but then many others might go to see it at least partly because he is in it. Same pretty much applies to a lot of actors where some people don't like them for whatever reason and won't see their movies, while others do like them, and many others don't really care all that much specifically about the actors as much as they might about the story/film itself.I really think there would be a lot of people who skip the film if Tom Cruise was the lead character. I know I would. I can not stand the man.
Because it's not like popular/famous actors do all kinds of independent and other non-blockbuster movies (some of which become more known and better thought of than most of the blockbusters) throughout their career, right?LOL.....this story keeps getting better and better. Tom Cruise takes a break from blockbuster films to star in this totally uninteresting movie about the creation of an MP3 player and computer. People in Hollywood are really deluded about the public's interest in this guy.
Now a story about how he decided to use dumb alternative treatments when his cancer was still curable, a decision which likely caused his premature death, would be moderately interesting. At least as a Lifetime special.
You're interest is not there. Your opinion is not a fact.
100 TB of data was flowing out of Sony via the internet and not one single person or system detected it?
How many more signs are needed.....
Time to let this project go.
Maybe pick it up later, but the interest is not there for another Jobs movie right now.
I am tall by no means, but aren't tobey and Tom a bit too short to be steve? Steve was around 6'. Tom and Tobey are about 5'6"

Right. But a movie about a guy inventing a computer and mp3 player, all the while denying his daughter's existence, would not be one of them.
