Jailbroke my AT&T iPad3 this afternoon after upgrading to 5.1.1 OTA. Took me 15-20 minutes but everything seems to be working (installed iFile and Terminal).
Any word on process to update from untethered 5.0.1 jailbreak?
Does it support the iPod Touch 4th gen?
Yes it does. Did it on 3 of my devices
Wow, I gotta try that, just for those features:
Let's see:
Notifications. (ios does that)
Icons in the status bar (Press twice and that comes up in ios)
For weather I actually look outside
What is better multitasking?
Maybe I am old fashioned, but I do one thing at a time. Has served me well over the years.
It's really hard to swipe, point, drag and click with a finger and occasionally push the home button.
Damn Apple forces us to work out unnecessarily!
tried it 4 times and it never manages to jailbreak for me.
does the "restore" part, reboots, and then says it failed and iphone is still unjailbroken.
iPad 3 + Quasar = OH MY GOD!!!!!!!
For $10 it changes the whole iPad experience IMO. I feel like my mb air and iPad just got married.

This is what the iPad was made for. Some of you might go on and on about inter-connectivity, productivity, information at your fingertips. Whatever. All that matters is I can finally play Maniac Mansion on my iPad.
This is the future people...as I imagined it to be when I was 12 back in '92.
What emulator is that?
jail breaking is becoming obsolete. Why? because there are no benefits.
ScummVM. It plays all the old Lucasarts and Sierra games.
Why won't this work with my developer preview of Mt Lion
Don't remind me! Twenty years later I still have not finished that game.Yeah, you just think you're cool. I'll show you what's REALLY cool...

I haven't Jailbroken my iPhone since the 3G, maybe 3Gs.
What are the reasons to jailbreak now? You get the apps for free, you can tether 3G to your laptop/iPad right? Anything else new that's happened in the last couple years?
Back then I seem to remember it being an issue. Glitchy, and always worried about the new software updates. Then again those software updates always seemed to bring out new "features" in some sense.
Appreciate any update on the whole jailbreak experience.
