Netflix is incredibly overpriced for what it is. Most of the content is garbage, the movies are mediocre and the final slap is needing to pay extra $$ for HD or 4K when every other streaming service gives you the best quality your device supports.

I dumped them two months ago and don't miss it.

One 4K Netflix sub would pay for HBO, AppleTV and at least one other streaming service.

Personally Netflix lost my subscription because they have focused on building an R and MA rated catalog and they supported child porn in the form of Cuties. I'm not looking for that kind of content and neither is my family.

Netflix used to be the place I went to see old classic films, now it's an expensive garbage heap and there are better options. I haven't missed Netflix even once.

Being reminded of how many months you have been paying for a service you have not been using then going back and finding out there is even less to watch now than before plus its more expensive than before is always a good thing. They should rename themselves NetBuster Video.

Since I have a family phone plan, I paid extra for the 4 screen option with netflix. It really should not matter to them when or where anyone in my family signs in to whatever device to watch their videos any location. paid for 4 screens at one time , then I should be able to stream 4 screens at one time. I hardly even use them, its mainly my sisters. So if they start their BS on me when I do use them, then I'll just cancel the extra screen option save some money and go back to 2.
I also use VPN at home and work so my IP location will most likely not be where I'm at,

Hey we raised prices and we know this cost us customers. Oh and inflation is causing people to cut back on their expenses. BUT we lost money because people are sharing their account. Yeah Yeah that why! That's what we will blame it on!

Of course Netflix's downfall is mainly do to people password sharing. It has almost nothing to do with the continual price increases taking them far out of the scale of their competitors...

RIP Netflix. I suspect this will cause a big user revolt.
Why would it. If people ever don't like a streaming service that's one thing, but to be reminded that it's not something that can be shared with everyone that going to be a typical response from all these streaming services. They all want your money, if one does it, then others will also.

Netflix’s business model is doomed at their price point.

It made sense when they had everyone else’s content, but they aren’t worth $20 when you also need to pay $5 for Parks & Rec on peacock, $5 for Star Trek on Paramount, $10 for the Sopranos on HBO, etc.

They didn’t evolve as the rest of the industry formed around them.
I pay $16 for Netflix in my country and $4 for HBO Max and yet they have way better content. I'll leave Netflix forever as soon as my subscription ends.

Time to say good riddance to Netflix — way too expensive for what it is, majority of their content is low quality.
You are clearly just searching for likes. This article is not about raising prices, it’s about a cheaper option. Price has been raised for 5 months already…yet you’re still here

If Netflix wasn't part of my TM plan, I would have dropped out a long time ago. I barely watch anything there anymore. Most stuff is crap.

Agree with the crackdown on account sharing.
I would if they didn’t incentivize it with their pricing structure. How is a single guy like me supposed to justify paying the $20/month just to stream 4k on 1 device when other streaming services are doing this for almost 1/3 the cost? And it’s included in our T-Mobile plan and that kinda implies that anyone on the plan can use it.

Ad supported is an okay approach, but it won’t stop the ship from sinking. They did it to themselves with price increases and losing their contracts with movie studios. Restricting account sharing is like removing boards from the bottom of the ship. It’s currently what’s holding Netflix together and it’s gonna finally be what sinks this ship for good.

Adding in the video games is like adding a fancy sail on top of the boat. Still not gonna help but it’s gonna be money wasted in the long run

"Netflix has long resisted implementing an ad-supported tier and has said multiple times in the past that the streaming service would never show ads, but it is hemorrhaging subscribers."

Guaranteed to LOSE even more subscribers with ads.

I’m gonna hit that unsub button real hard. Recent netflix content isn’t worth the sub.

They’ll be hemorrhaging subs even more with ads.

I just realized that buying dvds were a thing. And borrowing them is a thing too. and even more…
