Of course it is; in fact, 90% of useless Flash stuff I never get to see, thanks to Click2Flash. Want me to repeat it again?

I can't since I'm on a venerable PPC machine (Powermac G4 - still going strong!).
I still don't believe the hype. The same they have said about the 10.0 version - better performance bla bla bla - and here we go 450% on a Mac Freaking Pro.![]()
LOL @ People who use Click2Flash and say Flash is Dead.
Why don't you just UNINSTALL flash!!!???
Oh that's right you can't .. because you still wanna have it JUST IN CASE![]()

Thanks for adding the JUST IN CASE there, troll..
Flash is the new Internet Explorer. The antiquated, proprietary dinosaur that only exists due to a monopoly and web developers not having the balls to say "no" until it's too late.
But, y'know, IE got "fixed" eventually and is a far better browser than it was a few years back thanks to increased competition. So it's not entirely out of the question that Quicktime X, Silverlight, HTML5 and the like can push web video and Flash forward in much the same way.
ADOBE IS DEAD.
This is really getting old. Weren't they dead when you proclaimed them dead before?
Flash WON'T die so stop wishing it would ... you're wasting your time .. The Flash platform is bigger than it has ever been in it's history and it's getting larger.
You can create an app in flash .. and deploy it on iPhone, PC, Mac, Linux, Mobile, TV, and any other device that will support it.
Not many other technologies can do that!!! So suck it up!!
HTML 5 can't do P2P like flash can
HTML 5 can't dynamically create images or sounds and allow the user to save them to disk.
HTML 5 won't be out for a few more years.. Flash would have leaped frogged by then making HTML 5 look old.
HTML 5 is not a cross PLATFORM/DEVICE/BROWSER technology .. and it won't be for years.
Don't you mean adobe?
My framerate, running Snow Leopard, went from 19.89 to 19.91 on a Macbook Core Duo 2 Ghz (first gen). I've also seen absolutely no difference in CPU utilization when watching a youtube video.
And yes - I've checked to see whether it had been successfully installed.

You mean ... because SOME developers don't know HOW to program for Flash!! GET IT RIGHT!
Look at sites like YouTube, Google, Yahoo, Last.FM, Pandora ... these are companies who pay great developers to create great performing flash applications.
It's not FLASH .. it's some of the people writing programs for flash.
You leave BRLawyer alone! His insights into everything Apple is both educational and inspiring. BRL always gives a balanced, unbiased opinion on all things Mac.
I hate flash ads so flash is disabled on my machine. I refuse to click on flash ads. I hate blinking noisy ads on web sites. I turn flash on only for sites I navigate to to see a specific item/story I then turn it off again. I hate the fact with flash ads safari will idle at 20-40% CPU usage with flash on. Flash needs to die.
OpenCL has nothing to do with GPU acceleration. With OpenCL, you'd think it'd be easier for them to implement GPU acceleration!

Ouch, Adobe screws Apple hard. Photoshop also runs much better on Windows nowadays, with full 64-bit support and all.Not good.
