Answer: just don't lose it, and you won't have to worry about it.

That would be a valid criticism if I was replying to a question about what to do if you lose one. I wasn't answering a question. I was replying to this:

This isn't madness, and Apple hasn't created a new problem. This is just FUD, plain and simple. How many people go around wondering what happens if they lose one shoe?

The buds are kept together in a case, held in place magnetically. Can you lose them? Sure. You can lose anything. That's not a new problem.

Losing just one though? I can't imagine losing just one earbud unless I was doing something strenuous enough to have one fall out of my ear (which is reported to be rather difficult) someplace where I can't retrieve it.

I wasn't answering a question, but I was asking one that I haven't had answered yet.

I don't see the parallel. Bluetooth ear pods aren't tied to a particular platform like a Windows or Mac are.

The parallel is that you get cheap experience from cheap products, and premium experience from a premium product. But at the end of the day, there aren't many options out there without cables attaching them together (gagg)

Hasn't Apple figured this out yet?

It's why Siri sucks and Alexa is amazing. It's all in the quality of the mic.

I use my Earpods for phone calls all the time because they actually use a decent mic.

With the garbage mic, airpods went from a must have to a won't buy for me.

Sigh. I was just about to order them.

Everyone I have talked to on the phone using mine has told me that I sound clearer than ever, and way more clear than just using the phone.

Don't have to try. Already know the answer to this question. You can't. Not without some sort of dongle at least. Sonys doing. Not apples. I've researched this before trying to pair a different set of bt headphones to my PS4
