What's with the white? $$ and all you get is vanilla.

"We got all types of ice cream, as long as it's vanilla"

Because I work in a loud open office and need to focus all day by listening to music/radio shows.

If I take them off to charge, then I’m not able to listen to my content.

My PowerBeats 3 last over 12 hours on a charge. The PowerBeats Pro battery life is a bit less, but still acceptable to me.

Different needs. It’s ok.

That's my reason too for sticking with the PowerBeats 3 plus it's harder to lose because the ear pieces are connected by wire.

I mean if you don't want them don't buy them lol? To me these look like a great product and it's not like they're replacing the old ones, these look to be being offered along with the older models.

Nope. Huge win. Only $50 more for all the extra features.

How much additional were you expecting to pay for active noise cancellation with passthrough, better sound, better water resistance, multiple ear tips, etc.?
I don't look at it as it's only $50 more than what they have now. What they have now is overpriced for what they are. This should replace those older ones at that price point. Their competition is offering the same features for much less. And with battery degredation airpods don't last long as is.

I have airpods now though without the wireless charging case. And I do use them often. But just can't justify these new ones at that price point. Good thing is I'm patient. I'll wait for a deal.

According to the article it will test the fit for you and tell you if you need to change the tips.
According to the article there is a "transparent mode" that makes sure you are aware of your environment.
According to these very forums, numerous people have screwed up their AirPods by sweating
Says everyone who feels bad that they spent money on the old thing and can't really justify buying the new thing.
Your responses mean nothing. I'm just speaking for myself here so chill out. There could be 50 tips and it still not fit as good as the first gen for me. There's no way to try until I had them in my ears and reading an article isn't going to answer that.

I realize there's a "transparent mode", I'm just saying I would probably never use noise cancelling.

I have sweat and been in rain and yada ya and never once messed up my original pods.

I could buy twenty of the "new and amazing airpod pro" and my wallet wouldn't notice it but that doesn't mean I think it's worth it.

BUT for $249, these need to be as good as my QC35ii in the noise canceling department. I know the sound won’t be the same which is fine, but if the big seller is NC, I need to see what these new AirPod Pros are really about.
The big seller for me is noise cancellation combined with the tiny size and convenience of Airpods. The Bose are huge and cumbersome to carry when travelling. Even the case of the Powerbeats Pro is too big to carry for my taste. Airpods fit in any pcoket. If the noise cancellation works well, this is a dream come true for me.

What a ugly design! I'll pass.
What do you expect from things you put into your ears? What would an appropriate design following you look like?

I do not like the view either, but it is just like huge on-ear gears, making you look like ET or whatever.

I use these so much it was a no brainer. The price is a little high but with ANC and real controls it looks to be much better. Also, removable tips = much easier to clean.

They are slightly pricey though for something so easy to lose.

Sorry Apple. I prefer the originals
In a shocking twist, Apple knew some people would, and ergo still sells the originals.
But seriously people... like a third of the replies say absolutely nothing other than to knock the "pro" name. Do these people have nothing better to do with their time than worry about that? At least have the courage to actually discuss the features added, and what you apparently think is still lacking.
