I'm concerned about fit. The amazing thing about the first airpods for me was the fact that usually earbuds don't stay in my ears but the pods did no matter how I turned my head.
Noise cancelling...meh...another point of the pods for me was being able to hear music while also being aware of your environment. Might be nice for traveling though.
Waterproof...completely unnecessary. I have sweat gigantic amounts and my airpods have never failed. Not sure how wet they're getting but no one's going to be swimming with untethered earbuds anyway.
It all boils down to whether they actually sound significantly better and the fit still is as expected. Either way, I see no reason to buy them with airpods that already work great.

A bit expensive, but Airpods that are usable on airplanes and in noisy offices? Yes please. Hope the noise cancellation works well. Delivery is supposed to be on Thursday for me.

I don't know about the current AirPods having "incredible sound" there Phil but they sound good enough, the case is small enough to not be a nuisance in your pocket and they are light and comfortable if they fit your type of ear shape.
$329 in Canada, $370 all in with the sales tax for something that will become useless once the batteries wear out? I think I'll pass on these for awhile. Stick with my current AirPods 2 at least until the batteries on those die out.

LOL I totally understand, wasn’t going to get them and got the gen 2 because of wireless charging (my older gen 1 were starting to show battery age) but now will have choice of two wireless charging models to use or at least that is how I rationalize this LOL
Why? 50$ more than the current one with qi charging case
For that 50$ you get better fit with customized ear tips for small medium and large ears,better sound, ipx water and dust resistant and active noise canceling
I think with this airpods pro the 200$ last gen price is too high

This is so tired. It's a marketing term. Who cares? Get over it.
One of the main reasons I like the AirPods is that it does not come with a set of ear tips that supposedly fit my ears. I like the simplicity, the one-size-fits-all approach, and the fact that it is very comfortable in my ears.
Five minutes is like an eternity by the time you tried to order these, some members already had their orders in within 30 seconds. These will push well past November for order times by the end of the day.
We will see....
I still use my Gen 1 Airpods on a regular basis. They are now the portable headsets I have used the longest without losing, breaking or replacing in my lifetime. I will admit a lot of that has to do with they are also the most expensive portable headsets I have ever purchased.
These new headsets seem a little expensive to me but if I get the same amount of usage as my first set I be happy.
