I bought my PowerBeats Pro from Apple a month ago. Is there any chance in hell they will offer me a return so I can get these?

So these will be available in stores on Oct 30th?
Yes - according to the YouTube description box across the various Apple country channels

Damn shipping slipped to November 5th :( guess I’ll take my chances going in store on the 30th :(

Really? Over $200 for those? I bought AirPods generation 1 but got them half price. I’d probably never buy again though, especially not at that price.

Also, where’s the extra colours, still just in white...?

Here in euroland Apple has been improving and getting less greedy.

If you take VAT in account and exchange rate these are being priced at almost exactly 250 USD which is something that can't be said about other Apple products.

PowerBeats have a better design, not like q-tips hanging out your ears. 🤣

I had a pair of Powerbeats. Never liked how they felt in my ear with the silicone. I bought the original AirPods and loved them - they stayed in my ear much better. Now, I'm unsure whether to look into these new AirPod Pros. Maybe I'll dislike them like I did the Powerbeats.

Pre-ordered mine today. Yay! Hopefully they stay in my ears better than my current AirPods. The only Apple earphones that have ever fit in my ears properly are the old in ear design ear buds that Apple retired several years ago.

Finally we can control the music volume/calls and switch between Active Noise Cancellation and Transparency mode from the device it self (force sensor)...it was annoying to ask siri or to get your iphone/ipad/mac to change the volume

They look shorter. Wonder if they actually are, and if so, how battery life is.

Are you blaming Apple for your II tax, IPI tax and ICMS tax?

There’s nothing Apple can do about your high taxes.

Taxes are really very high here, and, although not Apple’s fault, it makes the price of their products absolutely ridiculous.

As for Apple not being able to do anything, well, that is debatable. Samsung’s Galaxy Buds cost 175 dollars here, while it sells for 129 dollars in the U.S. And it can be found even cheaper at some stores.

Smartphones are an even better example. The iPhone 11 costs 1,250 dollars here (up from 700 in the U.S.). The Samsung S10 Plus can be found for as low as 850 dollars. Other manufacturers do the same: Asus has just launched the ROG II phone for 1,125 dollars here (up from 900 in the U.S.).

If Samsung and others can price its products in Brazil for less than double it costs in the U.S., why can’t Apple?

If you're under 80% AppleCare+ covers the current gen free of charge. Seems like a very good deal
Thanks. I tried to find that but somehow couldn't. And you are right, it doesn't sound like a bad deal. But I don't think there is a way to test the battery capacity on your own.You have to go to a store to have it tested.

Another subscriptions from Apple. Wireless airbuds expire in about two years (battery dies). So, that comes to about $10 per month. It’s like having to rent a DVR from the cable company.

Well I broke down and ordered them; hope they work on Delta flying to Vegas next week haha (I think they will IF the aircraft has the newer WiFi IFE system :) )

RUBBER TIPS FINALLY! Maybe these will actually stay in my ears!

$249 is steep for a not very perceptible upgrade. That will be a bitter pill to swallow for the average consumer.

Apple just slapping the word 'Pro' on Products now? It's the same exact H1 Chip in the previous model isnt it ? slight redesign and no substantial improvements when it comes to battery life .... Apple marketing is at it once again

same products, just better ads and monster marketing
