AirPods Pro Launching on October 30 for $249

Definitely gonna buy these. I just would have hoped for volume controls and a matte black option but still looking forward to them.

Apple does do color variations. headphones are just in the market a few years. It's not like it will only be white forever.

James, Apple has been making headphones for close to 20 years. All Apple branded headphones have been white.

Note: I'm not saying they won't introduce colored headphones later, but there is zero historical precedent to support it.

Ordered pretty much straight away. Wednesday delivery as well which is sound but i'm going to be at work so probably won't see them until Thursday. 🙄
 
No thanks to in-ear but congratulations to those who wished for them. I hope both series of AirPods can live together in harmony on store shelves. As the distinction in names imply.
 
OK, I’m definitely on board for these. If the quality and the sound is above and well beyond the original AirPods, I can justify the $250 price point. However, I am going to wait for initial reviews first, but I’m pretty impressed what they’re offering in terms of the technology (Plus they look more minimalistic, which is a bonus). I was hoping Apple maybe would host a small keynote on these, but I get it, it’s a silent release. Altogether, I think these will be very popular through the holidays, and a perfect time for the release at that.
