He's far more accurate than that. Scorecards that put him that low usually include Apple earnings and sales estimates, which are hard to predict for anyone. Kuo's specialty is forecasting upcoming products and features, particularly in the mobile lineup.
What I like about Kuo, is he literally is non-existent and doesn't have to make himself the focus over his predictions like some of these bloggers do. He lives a very private life without attempting to put the media as his main focus. I respect that.
Gold, silver and black... sounds familiar

Will blue and light purple come to the 8s? Yes Apple was first with these colors, but the glass back and these colors is familiar with the S8
If Apple keeps making iPhones that are designed as fragile pieces of art instead of being functional, then they might as well make them all in one color. The reason being that most people end up putting them in a protective case. If Apple really put their design abilities to work, they could make something that is colorful, and doesn't shatter into a million pieces if you drop it, and isn't too slippery to hold onto. It can be done, they just don't want to do it.

Well the reality is Apple is not yet a trillion dollar company.I currently have a gold iPhone which is quite lovely. That mockup, if accurate, isn't gold - it's copper (and hideous).
A $1 trillion company can only make these colors? Really?
Haha he does not! And this year he's changed his mind several times about what the iPhones will have, so I don't trust him at all, he is guessing like everyone else.
I suppose so though the rumours have shown to be at least somewhat accurate we’ll seeOr you could slow your roll and not take rumor posts as gospel.
I would actually love a glossy white iPhone to be introduced to the lineup at some point. Everything is now black, grey, gold, copper or pink (rose gold). It has that retro white iBook feel to it.Great choice, other colors are getting old and booring. The new one looks nice. [Copper Gold]
Edit :- i wish apple launch this color, "Ceramic White" like Apple watch.

What metric do you use to justify colors that are old and boring? It's a color on an iPhone, not a car or house. I understand that Apple refreshes their color lineup typically on an annual basis, but what defines a color getting old and boring? It Seems all their iPhone colors are sold or used one way the other based on what someone appreciates.
In the markets where I am, Samsung prices is not much different that iPhones. Arguing that it's "cheaper" is moot since one would already be paying close to $1000.What are you smoking that I'm not?
"Samsung, same price as Apple"?
Samsung Galaxy S8 costs €630 in EU, while the standard iPhone 7 32GB costs €769.
Samsung offers better battery life, IP68, better cameras, facial recognition, iris scanner, larger screen, OLED, VR, QI-charging, Fast charging (included in the box), includes €100 AKG earbuds, 3.5mm headphone jack, USB-C port and lower price.
Btw, I travel a lot and most countries I visit don't even have Apple stores, which makes international warranty utterly useless!
However, I can agree with you on IOS, but that doesn't justify the high price of the iPhones which are always behind the cheaper competitor. No wonder Apple is loosing customers in China, because companies like Oppo, Huawei or Xiaomo are offering better phone with a significantly lower price!

I'm amazed why nobody thinks:
1. The vertical stacked camera module looks ugly and out of place People said the same about the dual camera last year, and the camera bulge 2 years before that.
2. The black module and the silver rim around it on the non-black colors looks uglier and even more out of place I'm going to wait for the final Apple unveil before judging color schemes. Last year, we thought we were getting a midnight blue, that turned out to be a new black finish
3. This is not really a new design/form factor - at least externally, it's the exact same as the iPhone 6 Porsche would like to have a word with you. Change for the sake of change isn't the best design language policy. There are only so many things you can do with a rectangle with rounded corners.
4. The top notch is anything but 'top notch' - no pun intended I think everyone is curious how Apple will implement the top notch, but we haven't seen an official confirmed part leak at this time, so it's hard to judge.
When Steve Jobs rejoined, he focused on SKU rationalization - this year, we will officially have an iPhone SE, iPhone 6 (for sale in some countries), iPhone 7S, iPhone 7S Plus, and iPhone 8 - well done.
