Wait, why??? Why is it frosted glass? Bring back Ive!! This looks bad.

I remember when the iPhone 4 launched. Beautiful phone, felt extremely premium at the time. Its honestly my favorite design besides the X. If Apple is taking inspiration from the 4 days then it’s a good sign. Not cheesy at all.
People forget that when the 4 was made all phones were plastic including the 3GS. When the 4 was announced it blew everyone away because it was stainless steel and glass. And it was even better when it was held. Man what an iconic design. I can’t wait for the 12!

But the sides of the iPhone 4 has brushed stainless steel. This one looks like it has plastic chrome edges.

If this is indeed the 'pro' finishing, the non-pro aluminum might look better (especially if it's in that matte navy blue).

They need to have that stainless steel in brushed or matte, not shiny like that. It seems the protruding cameras aren’t that thicc. It’s a good thing.

Apple should’ve remade the iphone 4 but with a full size screen, single simple good camera, touch ID on the side and called it iPhone SE 2020. That thing is gonna be awesome!

Hard to see, but it appears to have the mystery connector on the side. Not the SIM card tray which seems to have swapped sides, but that flush magnetic losenge. You can just about see the outline in the reflected light.

That would be the smart connector like the iPad. In the leaked CAD design it’s exactly the same size.

It's hard to be excited about a design that was originated in 2012 (2011 if you count the 4). It's a great throwback, but the matte black iPhone 5 looks more sleek to me. Those shiny edges look cheesy
You actually travel with your iPhone in the nude?
The rest of us will rarely see those shiny edges because of our phone case.

As an aside I think the 5/SE1 style is the best Apple have ever had for the iPhone. Looks sleek and like a professional grade product.
