Don't call it a lease. Some IUP members don't take kindly to that representation. They are adamant that they own their IUP iPhones. No lawsuit. Try reading the lease agreement you signed. Apple doesn’t have to make anything right per your payments.

And you should if that is was makes you happy. No sense in being in a program that doesn't live up to your expectations. Thanks, great reason to drop this program. I’ll actually join the Verizon program where I can get a new phone every year so I can get another Note again next year when it’s released on time in Aug
I’ve never really looked into IUP, but for the last 3 years have bought new, SIM free, and sold my previous gen for usually well over half what I paid for the new device. I’d be curious to do the math. See if its worth my while. And you should if that is was makes you happy. No sense in being in a program that doesn't live up to your expectations.

aluminum will dent easy. have you not dropped a iPhone with stainless sides? Those things don't budge.Back to the flat edges is a horrible mistake. The frames on the square edged iPhones always tended to get bent in really easy when dropped. Meaning they would have to be dremmeled out to fit a new screen in if you broke it. Never had to do that with the 6 or above because the curved edge absorbed a lot of the shock and the frame didn't warp.
It's hard to be excited about a design that was originated in 2012 (2011 if you count the 4). It's a great throwback, but the matte black iPhone 5 looks more sleek to me. Those shiny edges look cheesy.
you mean a throwback to the iPhone 4 design. The back will be glass not aluminum. Only difference is the middle band with be flush with the glass now.agree. It’s a total throwback to the iPhone 5. Innovation? All things considred though, it’s probably my fave iphone design ever
I used to buy outright and sell my older device when the new one was delivered. I’d make more money than on a trade in. But then the stress of listing, selling, shipping with insurance and making sure the buyer was happy before sale was complete, just wasn’t worth it. I’ve been doing the IUP for last 3 years and it works fine. Payments are nice vs lump sum, then when I have extra to pay it off, I do.I’ve never really looked into IUP, but for the last 3 years have bought new, SIM free, and sold my previous gen for usually well over half what I paid for the new device. I wasn’t convinced until one of the YouTubers printed it out, EverythingApplePro I think, and the connector was exactly the same size all around. Pretty convincing now.Indeed, I couldn't remember the exact function, but weren't there conflicting rumours as to whether this would actually materialise in this version?
I can only assume it will double down as a charger in some grim portless future.
That was questionable but they could’ve changed the design from the CAD that was leaked who knows.you mean a throwback to the iPhone 4 design. The back will be glass not aluminum. Only difference is the middle band with be flush with the glass now.
This video is so fake. The camera bump or lack there of is the sign its a fake. There is no bump and that won't ever happen not anytime soon.
I haven’t. But only the pro models with have SS. I think the non pro models are going to be the least durable iPhones since the SE because of this.aluminum will dent easy. have you not dropped a iPhone with stainless sides? Those things don't budge.

If they keep the same style they did for the 11/11 Pro I think we'll see brushed aluminum on the 12 and color matched stainless steel on the 12 Pro. This would just be the white 12 Pro I guess with it's shiny chrome look.A brushed look would be soooo much better.
Do you have anything else to speak about? All i can read from you is some schizophrenic mantra about apples fault of a delay.Dont bother if you want a new iPhone every 12 months. Apple has now ruined that this year.

The real question is how many trillion $ will the information at this event add to Apple's market cap.
This is horrible Apple where is the design innovation you are taking steps back with this one.
Don’t bother trying to spin it. We all know the new iPhone comes out every September but it will be late this year by months because Apple dropped the ball.

Dropped the ball? During a global pandemic? What a crass, selfish assertion.
Why don’t you mention how lucky it is that 917,000 people have died from COVID, making it more likely you can get one of the first batch of phones...![]()
I'm with you on your first statement. But on your second...really? Not listening to science? Hyperbolic much? But will it work with a COVID mask and have Touch-ID under the screen? This is the most important thing to me.
So far Apple is not listening to science.![]()
lol, the flat edges are a work of art, especially if they have the chamfer/bevel built-in. But I HAVE broken one; dropped Siri on her head and cracked that screen but good. Got it fixed for $189, and kept the phone for another 6 months before upgrading to an XS Max. But I swear, Siri is still trying to take revenge on me; constantly trying to guide me into lakes, rivers, sinkholes, over cliffs, and down mountainsides. My family knows that if I meet my doom off of a cliff in Florida, that's gonna be Siri's doing, for sure. We don't HAVE cliffs in Florida!Just don’t drop it then 🤷♂️ I’ve never damaged or broken one in 10 years.
Yeah, we might ought to bring back touch ID at least until our government masters "allow" us to take off our muzzles in public. In what way is Apple not listening? That Touch ID doesn’t work with gloves and face id doesn’t work with masks?
I too love the white color, with either silver or gold as the trim! So elegant, and still much cheaper than buying a Mercedes or BMW with the same paint choices! As someone who loves the white color, I do wish that the silver would actually have a white back versus the pearly color it is today. They do this for the lower end models without the frosted glass. Wish they’d do this for the Pro models.
Oh puhlease; Apple looks foolish because they don't make September? That's a bit overdramatic.already got one. It’s really sad that Samsung and everyone else can get their phones out on time and Apple can’t. Makes them look foolish.
Key phrase: "When it's ready"Who defines “on time”? Why does everyone think that Apple has to release something the same time every year. Last I checked, it’s their product release cycle, and they make those decisions. Not other OEMs, not customers. When it’s ready and they want to launch it, they’ll launch it.
LOL, well put!The only ones that look foolish are those that whine about not being able to get the new iPhone after their 12th payment has been made on their IUP.
I never buy a phone or watch in consecutive years. I also never buy cars in consecutive years. Doing any of those things will surely keep one from making their financial goals!Dont bother if you want a new iPhone every 12 months. Apple has now ruined that this year.
