As someone who loves the white color, I do wish that the silver would actually have a white back versus the pearly color it is today. They do this for the lower end models without the frosted glass. Wish they’d do this for the Pro models.
To be fair it hasn’t been pure white since the iPhone 4. They always try to give the color some depth, only with The 11 pro they went metallic instead. I’m honestly impartial to it and would typically get whatever white iPhone they throw my way because the black feels a little bland. But again if this is truly what the back of the phone looks like with 5 black circles floating around randomly, I’ll be going with either black, or most likely the rumored dark blue.

If I had a dollar for every time I heard this... 😂
I totally agree but we do have some reasons to doubt the finish of the back on this particular one. Maybe the person who stole the shell tried to fill in the gaps themselves as far as finish goes.

Look, I've been extremely happy with my XS and see no reason to upgrade at all. BUT, the flat edge design has always been my favorite iphone design and had no idea it was going to be back for iphone12 so now I'm quite torn!

If this is real I’ll eat my hat. 🧢

Come on people, Apple wouldn’t release anything that looks so horrid. This is nothing more than a dummy model designed to look like ***** on purpose.

Were you alive when the iPhone 4 was leaked? People said that about the antenna band.

Talk about Déjà vu.

already got one. It’s really sad that Samsung and everyone else can get their phones out on time and Apple can’t. Makes them look foolish.
Who defines “on time”? Why does everyone think that Apple has to release something the same time every year. Last I checked, it’s their product release cycle, and they make those decisions. Not other OEMs, not customers. When it’s ready and they want to launch it, they’ll launch it.

apple defines on time when they release the new iPhone every sept and then admitted the iPhones would be late this year...

But see, this is the problem. We make the assumption that it should just be the same year over year. Last I checked, Apple never committed to a September launch. You (and basically every media outlet) made an assumption that this should be the case. Again, reality is that it’s their product, they could just choose not to release a phone this year at all. We know that’s unlikely, but the iPhone is Apple’s product, therefore they define release schedules and announcement dates.

Sure they have. If they hadn’t committed to a sept release cycle, they wouldn’t have come out and announced the iPhone would be late this year now would they?
So “late this year“ definitively means end of Q3? Last I checked the calendar has 3 more months of the year... October, November and December... I believe those qualify as ”late” as well...

Don’t bother trying to spin it. We all know the new iPhone comes out every September but it will be late this year by months because Apple dropped the ball.

sorry but we pay to be on this plan and get a new iPhone after 12 payments, not 16 or even 13. Apple will have to make this right for us or there will be a class action lawsuit coming.
Absolutely. You do do this plan to get a new iPhone after 12 payments. And you can. Whatever iPhones are available at that time. Nowhere in the IUP does it say anything about guaranteeing the new model will be available every year after exactly one year. This is an assumption that you and some others made on your own.

Love this design! My first iPhone was a 4s then the 5s. Stayed with that until 2 years ago when I got the Xr but I don't like that design as much as the old. It is slippery like soap without a case. It even falls off flat surfaces without anyone touching it sometimes. If this is how it will look like I might upgrade much earlier than I planned.

No lawsuit. Try reading the lease agreement you signed. Apple doesn’t have to make anything right per your payments.

Thanks, great reason to drop this program. I’ll actually join the Verizon program where I can get a new phone every year so I can get another Note again next year when it’s released on time in Aug
