Possible
I wish they could hide the antenna better...
On 6/6s it looks like it could be decorative, could be mechanical. That just looks completely mechanical
One theory could be that Apple is moving over to a 3 year refresh cycle. Perhaps they have something huge in store but need more time to refine it. So this year could be the 6SE or something (basically an improved 6S), with next year being the major refresh.Would you like your signal hidden, too?
[doublepost=1463962315][/doublepost]3G/3GS = new chassis design
4/4S = new chassis design
5/5S = new chassis design
6/6S = new chassis design
7 = SAME chassis design as 6/6S?
Spot the glaring odd one out. I think not, somehow.
You know how the major android phone makers have been, recently. If Apple removes the headphone jack this year, then there's a high chance the following Samsung Galaxy will drop it too, and the rest will follow. You may be able to get a couple years out of Android smartphones before it makes ubiquitous. Bluetooth headphones have become reliable and with good quality sound. The time has come to make the change, and Apple will be the one bold enough to start the domino effect.Removing the headphone jack will just mean I would end up jumping to Android...
But at least the camera bezel is smaller

Looks like a render to me
I enjoy dropping in from time to time for a laugh. Enjoying the irony of how so many people in a tech forum are terrified by technological change. Grandpa's analogue headphone mini jack is a 60+ year old technology, and has no place on a 21st century digital device. I'd expect the inevitable included Lightning EarPods to be a vast improvement over the soon-to-be-extinct analogue ones, with USB powered noise cancellation among its many advantages. It's 2016 people. Adapt or die.
I still doubt any of this is true, but according to the website it says they will make it in purple.
From a Google translation of the website: "This is stated in the video the next generation iPhone models, the brand mobile phone shell chambers designed according to the characteristics of the corresponding products, located below the camera flash, more surprising is the iPhone 7 will be the same as the iPad Pro has a 4-channel speaker output, and the color purple will increase, I believe Apple will continue to lead after another popular pink color all fashion products, but also confirms the rumors of cancellations 3.5mm headphone jack."

Ever wonder if Apple will ditch 16GB another year.
I will not buy/upgrade my current iPhone if
1. No headphone jack.
2. System performance does not improve much.
3. Price over 1600 AUD for top tier model. (bigger one, storage max out)
bye. Nothing like declaring to the world something no one cares about.Removing the headphone jack will just mean I would end up jumping to Android...

As I said in another thread, repeating a pattern four time doesn't make it a longstanding tradition. The marketplace in which Apple operates has changed. Look how the iPad name has changed:Would you like your signal hidden, too?

Agree.... if only to enjoy all the posts about people crying about the switch....Looks trippy haha, speakers at the top..
I hope they do drop the headphone jack, that is the future, so might as well be first.
Really... you feel those two items are comparable? Lol.......You don't see car manufacturers dropping the wheel from their cars just because it's an old technology.
Oh snap! That smack down was deafening!Lol.
Here are some digital headphones for you to buy and join the 21st century (Semantic BS notwithstanding):
But seriously, the difference is this: Analog headphones connect via a traditional headphone jack to an audio processor built into the phones. Digital headphones connect either into a digital audio out jack or a USB port and receive digital information to an internally-installed audio processor. The more you know.
You'd think in 2016, people would know how audio equipment works.
Unless you're trolling and know that all headphones are analog.
Undeniably fake. Absolutely nothing about this case looks legit.
older than my grandma
I was thinking the same. Can't tell if he's being foreal or if not but I know you think it's real. Oh and FYI I think it looks real too. Is it really real? I don't know. And that's okay too.RIP Headphone jack.

I think it does. Cant tell if your post is sarcasm, but that does look real.
