You are right. There is no such thing as the "perfect" design where everyone likes it. There will always be people who do not like the current/new design, always.

Maybe Apple thinks Carbon Fibre is too "cheap-looking" for their tastes?
I wonder what the advantages to using carbon fiber over aluminum and vice versa. I know carbon fiber is very light and strong.

How about if they just make one little change?
Kinda obviates the need for a glass trackpad, now don't it?
(...and obviously, it would have an instant-keyboard button, which upon pressing, brings up a keyboard and trackpad along the entire bottom screen... perhaps in translucent over the existing items on the bottom screen.)
