I actually have no memory of the MacBook's initial launch. Probably because there wasn't an event/I had no intention of upgrading. If they announce tomorrow, ANYTHING, its going to be to try and salvage the stock price on the last day of Q3, even though the markets will tank again...*sigh*remember the macbook replacing the ibook, well it was big chances

I agree. I don't understand why some people are so pessimistic and intent on dampening one's excitement. If you don't want to see it, you don't have to read these threads.
It's also good to be realistic and truthful and not spread baseless rumors for the public to read...(again, and again, and again)
For me, I understand this IS a "rumor" site, but jumping the gun EVERY monday afternoon is just crazy. I can honestly say I've had the 10/14 timeframe more or less confirmed.
I'm just trying to be realistic, but by all means, speculate away dude

At least, we are not hurting anybody and time does seem to fly by faster when we have fun discussions/rumours.

I understand what you are saying, but I don't think optimism and excitement from people desperate for a new notebook is going to hurt anyone.

The weekly excitement-fest on here though seems to go beyond that of optimism. I'm being realistic AND optimistic with the thought that the media will even be mentioned tomorrow, less anything else.
