I'm not using it. Double tap the home button to bring up the app switcher is faster and cormfortable as these Force-Touch crap.

No telling how many are doing it that way, probably a much higher percentage than using force touch for the app switcher.

The deep press on the keyboard to pull up the cursor is my most-used 3D touch feature so far.

Very useful for camera and in the browser, everything else is s fun gimmick at the moment

Well you can quickly do a slow mo, record a video or take selfies by 3D touching the camera icon and jump directly to what you wanna do.

Oh gotcha. Cool. I thought you meant there was fanciness while inside the app itself.

I use it now and again but only because it's there. I wouldn't lose any sleep if it wasn't there and I certainly don't consider it to be a 'gamechanger'. Handy for the camera app and the keyboard cursor but that's about it for me.

I use the multitasking gesture and the keyboard selection tool, all the time.

3D Touch is indispensable.

The problem is that developers need to add support into their apps. Until we, as users, are relatively confident that a 3D Touch will actually do something, most of us won't be bothered to waste time and effort trying.

Sadly, if the slow pace of developers rolling out iPhone 6/+ screen support repeats itself here, it'll be a year before 3D Touch reaches critical mass.

I really forget it's there and when I do, I can't find a reason to use it. It does nothing faster for me. I'm basically getting nothing from the 6s+ other than the increase in performance over the 6+

Same with me. It is going to take some getting used to.

I'm sure I'll be using it in another few weeks.

:)

For me 3DT is kinda gimmicky. It doesn't work with all my apps and then it doesn't always give useful options.
Like the Apple builtin weather app. I have 4 locations saved in the app but 3DT doesn't work at all. Then the built in music app does have very useful options. One is search, last song played or a beats playlist that does not exist. Where is the option to choose my existing playlists?

Don't - or don't intentionally - just don't think about it - probably will more and more as time goes on and more apps add it as a feature. Not that I dislike just don't think about using it.

Use it consistently, can't wait for more support. While I did not upgrade for 3D Touch it is a very welcome function and has become indispensable.

Ive only had the 6s a few days and can't say I've used it. I'm just not used to it being there and find myself mostly forgetting it's a feature.

It doesn't seem to make things easier either.

Take the camera app, instead of just tapping the app then taking s photo you press and hold then click take photo.

Exactly my point, you have to force yourself to use it. Not starting a comparison but and Android widget makes usage easier and faster. This does not imo

Trackpad is good but I wish you didn't need to hold your finger down. A few times I hit the edge of the screen before I've moved the selection where I want it.

Should have it so that 'peek' clicks into trackpad mode and it stays there until I peek or poke to turn it off

I'd also be happy just to have a button on the keyboard to enable the trackpad - would be useful on iPad. No real need to hide he feature behind 3D Touch

I will be honest and say I would personally not want it to work that way...at all. I like that I can do it all in one one fell swoop rather than clicking each time to activate/deactivate. I use this function so much because I am a terrible typer.

Though hopefully there is an intuitive way to add this feature w/out needing 3D Touch. I like this feature so much that I think everyone with iOS should be able to use it w/out resorting to jailbreak.

Just hold two fingers on the keyboard with ipad to activate this feature.
