Around here in CA, AT&T is horrible & Verizon rocks.

I watched the c|net live blog as I use Amazon Prime and have a Fire HDX which I actually use more than my iPad 4 due to Prime video / music streaming and my take on the phone was; "wow this would be cool for around $ 300.00 unlocked " but if I'm going to pay $ 199.00 for a subsidized device I will stick with good old Apple!

I guess you don't remember the video from when Apple went to this design. They are quite unique and this is the first copy I've seen. So their are other designs for headphones. They purposely copied them.

I cant find amy videos of the presentation !
 
I'm really interested in trying out the UI... seems similar to the parallax feature of iOS 7 but more robust and throughout the system.

That wasn't my point. I was taking a jab at those who insert the copycat labels without knowing the whole story.
 
Not that it really matters cause the Earpods are awful but yeah.... :rolleyes:

I think it's that even the marketing materials copy Apple down to the number of colored cases.

This.

Some people here like the Dynamic Perspective feature, and some don't, and some don't care. Same goes with Parallax on the iPhone.

People who assume that all Apple Fans are like-minded, are just not paying attention. Look at the discussion of the 5.5" iPhone 6. It would be impossible for imaginary Apple fans to dislike it (because imaginary Steve would never allow it), but real Apple fans have real differences of opinion. Some like it. Some don't. Some don't feel strongly about it. Mindblowing!

Now back to your regularly scheduled fantasy: Did you know imaginary Apple fans would pay $600 for a dead cat if it came with Apple stickers?

Amazon is quickly setting itself up for big losses by trying to play "catch up" with the likes of Apple & Samsung.

Their price hikes as mentioned will only help everybody else including Apple's new products. :apple:

pretty clear this is phone for buying stuff, not really surprising, but how good is it as an actual phone?

The one thing I do like about this phone is the unlimited storage cloud storage for pics Amazon is offering...but that's about it.

In your eyes is the iPhone still the no. 1 handset on the market. Oh wow.. biased much?..

Techradar .com , one of the uk's leading tech websites does a top 20 handsets each month.. the 5s is currently. No 8.. it is a very good unbiased site praised for its non allegiance to brands.. so....that's 7 other handsets that it thinks are Better than Apple's flagship model.. is that competition good enough for you..
