uk display prices now 549, 1049 and 2099 - what were they before?

For me the biggest news was the drop of the 23" display price to 1299 in the educational store. Anyone know what the educational price was before? I'm sure it was more but forget how much more. I was on the fence between getting a dual head system or a single 30" display, but the price drop has sealed the deal for me.
Such is life. The anticipation was fun while it lasted. Now I guess we have WWDC to look forward to... (how's that for a positive spin?)
