Do you have some inside info? That sounds 100% logical.

As a reader of the comics, they covered this a little. Think of it like two different infections: one that reanimates the dead that everyone has, and a secondary infection that the dead carry that causes fever and eventual death, that spreads through fluids. On the show they haven't really shown someone dying from the latter infection, but I'm sure it will be covered at some point. In the comics Dale is actually infected twice; the first time Rick amputates his leg and he survives. The second time, not so lucky.

Interesting, I've never been a comic book fan but I am thinking of getting this one.

Or who has has died?? Does it work like that? I guess I should just read the graphic novel to avoid spoilers on here.

Yes, it does. :) spoiler> The Graphic Novel mentions it fairly early on. In the GN, Shane died early in the story at the hands of Carl who was protecting his father. Rick ended up digging him up and shooting him, as he was "reanimating". As my weak memory will allow, last Sunday's TV episode 3/11 was the first that illustrated this process when the captive got his neck broken (by Shane) and later attacked Glen and Darryl as a walker. And of course Shane himself, where we witnessed it happen after he was killed by Rick. <<end spoiler. See this Walking Deak Wikia Link.

YESSSSS! MICHONNE!!!!! Such a cool scene and what a way to introduce her character to the show... so badass. :) She is definitely one of my most favorite characters from the graphic novels...

And I just don't get Lori... not even 2-3 episodes ago, she was whispering into Rick's ear that Shane needed to be "taken care of", that he was a "threat" to her and Carl. Then Rick tells her that Shane was basically setting him up to kill him, gives him the opportunity to come clean, then whacks him when he doesn't... and she's horrified that he killed Shane?? WTF.

Haven't finished but hell yeah,,,,!

Michon! And she had the two walkers. Freaking love it!

The prison!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Man I love her and with her comes some badass scenes!!!!!!

Yeah I don't either re: Lori....

Lori.

Man, if there's a more irritating person in that show, I haven't yet spotted them. Her character has grated me from the outset. I really disliked Shane also, I thought his acting recently was becoming hammier than a pig's arse at times, I'm quite glad he finally got whacked.

I watched it on my laptop and had the usual glassy glare from being in a day lit room, so had to re-watch the ending in the dark to see what was what!

The second half of this season has been a bit of a drag. Hopefully with Michonne and the prison here now, things will start moving along.

I think Lori's frustration is at how Carl has been affected by all of this. On the "Talking Dead" after show one of the directors said that Lori is angry and upset with herself as much as anyone else because she knows that she is also responsible for all of the jacked up stuff that has happened.

You can know that something is the "right" thing to do and still be tore up about it. Rick is mad about what Shane forced him to do even though it was the best thing. I think Lori is struggling to deal with it all.

Like so many posters here predicted (and whined about), it looks like the prison is up next.

The hotel (Renaissance) I was in last night did not carry AMC, ARRGGG! I've got it recorded at home, but I don't get home for another week. My best shot is Friday Night at 10PM where ever I am... :(:(

No whining here :) :)!! Glad to see it though and I am hoping we get one more character for next season!!!!!!

Shame those bit torrent things don't exist anymore ;)

I'm on the bandwagon with all of the Lori hate. She still acts like the rules of society haven't fundamentally changed.

The ending was great at teasing the hell out of me. I wonder if the Governor character will be introduced and if it will be Daryl's brother.

The Governor has already been cast. It's David Morrisey.

I'm guessing you have access to a computer, whereever you're at. You could pay the $3 at iTunes. Perhaps Hulu has it.

Lol. You know if AMC just had the courtesy to put their shows on their web site, I'd watch it there, but bit torrents are over the edge (for inconvenience) for me so I'll wait till later this week and find out what you all all ready know!! :)

I agree, I wish AMC would get on the HULU bandwagon. Would be nice to see other networks jump to hulu, even if hulu added an extra $1 or $2 for additional network packages. ( A paid premium for additional networks)
