That was genuinely hard to watch at times. Seeing Glenn be completely dismantled like that was almost torture. After the first hit he was past the point of recovery, but him just staying upright, while being taunted before being put out of his misery...jeez. Abraham, what a champion. That loss is also going to hurt.

I had an inkling that Rick wouldn't be forced to go through with the dismemberment at the end, but it was still incredibly tense.

Wish I could've gotten the full impact by not knowing who dies in advance though. Thanks internet for throwing out spoilers in random places so it's hard to miss. First GOT, now TWD. I'll have to avoid going online until I get to see the episodes aired in the UK the next evening :/

To me that scene alone as been the most intense scene of the entire series. Both me and wife were sitting on the edge of the couch. It was pretty intense!

Yeah, I purposely stayed of social media because I follow a few TWD sites and fans on twitter and I did not want to be spoiled.

I have to disagree. Nagan is clearly evil (profoundly immoral and malevolent). His morality is give to me, bow to me, my way or the highway, or I'll hideously murder you or your loved one and mangle their remains just cause I have the power to do so. You are just cattle to me.

I'd have to agree with Huntn here. If anything I would say Negan was neutral evil. He doesn't really want Chaos, he wants obedience and isn't afraid to get that in any means necessary.

You could even say Lawful Evil because he does follow laws (and to the letter), just ones that he has created himself. But Evil, no doubt.

whos ready for sunday? Time for carol to save rick and the crew!

More tainted meat! A puzzling thing though, because if that's the case, it would have made sense to see some Saviors sick BEFOREHAND. But maybe just foreshadowing of things to come perhaps..

Also wondering about the timeline of things as far as how long Morgan and Carol have been at The Kingdom now. It would seem Abe and Glenn died the next day after Morgan and Rick split up, but how long did it take Morgan to find Carol at the library?

Lastly...how did Deanna manage to not already have a deal in place with The Saviors, if all of the other surrounding communities did? Certainly before Rick and company arrive they would have been mince meat if threatened by The Saviors.

Jerry's comical whit, nice touch.

I thought they did have an arrangement and Rick decided it was a bad arrangement and told the Saviors it was over. Isn't that what started it all?

I think if anyone gets the final say so in Negan's fate, I think Maggie will. Her compound suffering is boiling over. However blind rage or anger sometimes clouds judgement. But certainly not Carol, I wouldn't be surprised if her arc is coming to an end this season.

The only question that remains is...WHERE THE H*LL IS JESUS?!?! o_O

Maybes he's a Savior now!

I'm so glad we got back to Carol and Morgan tonight. It was an almost pleasant episode. I love Ezekiel! The ending was the best part, with him stopping to visit her, like life was normal.

After last week, there was only one way to go. ;) What a great episode! I too really enjoyed seeing Carol and Morgan, Eziekiel and the Kingdom, approximating the King's words, the normalcy of the fantasy. :)

How many will eat the tainted Pork, die and turn. Will those take out even more?

I wonder if that would happen?

S7,E3 - That felt like a sympathy episode for Daryl, Dwight and Sherry. The tidbit Gordon dropped about Negan made it sound like The Saviors were formed before Negan was there? It also made me feel like Dwight might die soon? However, pleased they provided backstory from last season on Dwight & Sherry and their actions.

Not that it matters, but I noticed Dwight wasn't eating pork

Looking forward to an extra long episode next week!

I've read several articles now that state the tainted pork won't kill them. The leading theory now is the pigs are simply fattened up on walkers as a cheap food source, but one not used to feed the Kingdom.

I like the "death by tainted pork" theory though, so I'm going to hold onto it...

Point taken, however since planting the "tainted meat" theory in the show, it would make sense to follow it or add a twist.

Definitely nice to see Dwight's back story. Makes him a sympathetic character now. I figured Darryl would want to creep up the ranks quickly so that he could organize a coup. I was surprised to see him continue to fight and not break.

What do the people who survive on "points" do? And what was that lowest level?

Ingesting the zombie biohazard does not seem to be a problem, but it seems like zombie putrescence introduced directly in the blood stream results in infection and death, although all people are already infected. Don't think about the antibodies that would rise to our defense with a low level infection, but for the story premise to stand, the basis of this vague mechanism must remain a mystery along with allowing for magical motivation after the sesation of normal bodily functions, as if a blow to a dead brain would kill the magic. Filed away so we can get back to the drama! :D

I'm fuzzy on the concept. Darryl was not in the comic, so what he does will be original, but I'm sure many of us are thinking, why not conform and prepare for a knife in the back opportunity? It seems like such a leader as Negan would be very vulnerable to death by bullet.

Could be his principles getting in the way of it all. Could be him actually playing it all up so that if/when he does turn he would come off as more believable and this with more room to plan whatever he might end up doing. Hard to say.

I think it's more like spitting in someone's drink, it's [usually] not harmful, but it's a way to secretly get back at them (i.e., "Hahaha, you guys ate zombie, and you _liked_ it!")
