Exactly. America doesn't want to be challenged. It wants to be comforted. And that's a damn shame. Adam scared and challenged people to look beyond the packaging. America doesn't like that.
i think Adam was the better performer - solid voice, great stage presence etc... he has entertainer written all over him.
Don't get me wrong - I thought Kris was great too.
But I agree with leekohler - I think Adam lost b/c of his sexuality (or questionable....not sure if it was ever confirmed), but regardless....it's a shame that society still focuses on images and ideology rather than what the show is supposed to be about - talent.
both guys are talented, but I think Adam shone brighter.
I do wonder now what will happen to both guys.
I've never been into Idol before this season - I'm aware of the bigger successes, but is there a website that details all (or most of the contestants) and what they've done since they've been on the show?
