weird, do u think it has something to do with me changing the dock icon of photoshop?

i moved it to the desktop and back to the adobe folder but it is still not working properly.

don't move it back, move it OUT, then reopen photoshop...and see how things go. the dock icon will have NO affect on the issue.

do some googling as well; when i moved from 10.7 to 10.8, i had crazy PS issues, and found a fix online (i thought it was removing preferences...)

Has anyone tested iDVD?
I know its not supported anymore by Apple but it still works great with Mountain Lion... Wondering if it works with Mavericks?

Preferences>General>Check for updates and Update to test builds..

Thanks Humex. Thus far, the Bartender Beta is handling the blue "Full Screen" icon correctly now. I've thrown everything I can at it... on multiple monitors as well.

found the culprit, i have changed the plist a while ago to enable highqualityresolution on my rMBP. removed that line and now its working again :)

Hey everyone,

I know this topic isn't exactly new, but I had a random thought today...

So it's been established and tested (also by myself) that both After Effects CS6 and CC does not currently run on 10.9 before adobe releases an update (pain in the arse!)

But what about Adobe CS5.5 ?? does anyone currently use that with mavericks? problems?

Cheers guys.

Anyone having Bioshock Infinite freeze every so often (just the 3D part, music continues to play) only to have it fixed by switching back in and out of it by alt-tabbing? Is this an app nap issue introduced with DP7 perhaps? Worked perfectly in DP6.

Edit: Restart cured it.

XBMC still crashes on launch. With the latest nighty (beta) builds it launches without crashing but then it marks a whole bunch of add-ons as broken. Also, strangely, the pointer is out of whack and unusable, but as soon as XBMC is shut down the pointer is back to normal. Keyboard works fine within the app.

Why would you use XBMC and not Plex?

In my case it's mainly because over the years I've customized xbmc a lot and I've got it exactly how I like it. It's probably a case of sticking to what I know and having my own configurations. I may look into plex although I'm sure xbmc will have a day one update that will make it 10.9 compatible.

I'm having trouble updating my Adobe CS apps. Anyone know a fix?

Am looking to see if there are any workarounds for Teleport 1.1.2 - the app crashes when used as a server, though seems to function okay when set up as client.

Is anyone able to verify these:

- Final Cut Pro 7
- DVD Studio Pro 4
- QuickTime Player 7
- Shake 4.1

I'm well into my transition to Adobe CC since Apple sort of tossed the Final Cut suite in the trash, but it would be ideal to still have access to these apps for legacy reasons. They all work on 10.8.

For Mountain Lion there was a pretty cool list with all the apps that worked and others that didn't (with colors and such). I am not sure if it was on MacRumors. Do you know what I'm talking about? Is there something like this for Mavericks?

You're probably referring to http://roaringapps.com/. They announced to include Mavericks soon, presumably after launch.
