Came from a 6S and have zero regrets. My only wish after seeing them in-store is that I'd have gone with the silver over rose gold. My screen is warmer than my 6S was but honestly I don't think I'd have noticed had I not put them side by side for a size comparison.

I've noticed the screen being warmer in 5SE as well, compared to my 5s, it's quite noticeable actually.

Ya I notice that my new SE is a little warmer and a more yellowish display than my 5S. I find it a little harder to read. Hopefully I can get used more accustomed to it.

There seem to be a startling number of issues with the screen on all of these, unless it just appears that way because of people on here reporting them. I know there's a large population of people that don't give a crap about defects and seem to just roll with it. I'm glad they don't stress over things like this, but Apple and other companies should be forced to give people the product they paid for in the condition a new item should be in.

My wife loves every bit of it. Great upgrade from her 4(S). She would've been miserable with a 6 or 6+.

I was thinking about a SE to replace my 5C, I was jelly because my wife just got a S7 but with my 920/1020/640, Nexus 5, and iPhone 6 sim swapping, I just cant keep up anymore, I just ordered a 830 too. I might definitely have a problem..

There, I fixed that for ya. ;)

I didn't notice it at first, though something had been niggling at me about the screen and how it seemed different. Once I saw the posts about it I took the time to compare the two devices and it really does stand out. I gave it a couple of days to see if I would adjust but it still bothers me - I think my eyes got used to the clarity of the other screen, though the warmer colour is beneficial at night.

It seems like a small issue, but I am dropping $700+ Canadian on this, so I think I'm going to return mine rather than fiddle around trying to get one with a whiter screen. Then I can do a swap with my iPhone 6 to get the iPhone 6S. That way I save some money on it and it'll be a good year and a half when the 2017 iPhone comes out, since I think that's the one I'm going to be wanting to upgrade to next, rather than this year's model which sounds a bit lackluster.

It's a great little phone, though... I'm happy with it otherwise.

I'm still undecided at this point.

I will say that my iPhone 6 once again seems freakishly huge, just like when I first upgraded from my iPhone 5.

I noticed that over the weekend when I was going back and forth! I've adjusted over the last year and a half of having my 6, but the 5S is a really nice little size. I think that's partly why I'm holding out for 2017 - I want Apple to do something about the bezels, and I think they will at some point.

The thing that seems so silly to me is the obsession over thinness. I'm no engineer, but it seems like making the phone slightly thicker would allow them to reduce the size of the bezels some. I'd trade for that set up in a second.

I've been playing around with my SE for about an hour now, and these are my first impressions:

- there is no discernible speed difference in normal use between my 6 and SE
- the screen quality is, to my eyes, exactly the same
- the SE feels much nicer in the hand than the 6
- my eyes did need some adjustment to the smaller screen, but not much
- there were many places that I thought the 6 did a better job with its larger screen
- it comes down to one-handed use vs. more content displayed on the screen

If my iPhone 6 and SE had the same storage capacity, I believe I would return the SE and just keep my 6. But the SE has 64 GB while my 6 only has 16 GB, so it's going to take more deliberation. I'll wait a week and then see.

I don't notice much difference when I go from using my 6 to my wife's SE, but when I stop using the SE and go back to my 6, it seems much larger. Not sure why.

I bought the 6 not the 6s because it is thinner and lighter. It's important to me.

It certainly says something that people are trading out their 6S iPhones for the SE. What it says, well I think it's a mixed message.
I'm another one who made the switch from 6s to SE. Missed the smaller screen size, and it's much easier to use with one hand. (Quickly check messages/fits in pocket better/etc...)

...and no I'm not trying to "justify" my purchase :) To each his own, I'm glad Apple gives us 3 screen sizes.

So you don't really miss 3D Touch or the nicer screen?

I purchased an SE from a seller on Swappa earlier this week, and just got it yesterday to play around with. The first thing I noticed was how light and comfortable it felt in my hand. But when it came to typing, I immediately preferred my 6s and it's larger size. The deciding factor for me though was the yellow screen (noticeably more yellow than my 6 and 6s screens). Since I purchased it second hand, I'll be selling it since I went back to my 6s after only playing around with the SE for about two hours. The screen got to me too much.

I certainly wouldn't rule out in a couple months purchasing another SE if the screen color mess is resolved.

I find it very interesting that so many users went from the 6/6+ form factors down to the smaller SE. Apple's intent was to entice existing 4" and (God help them) 3.5" iPhone users to upgrade without breaking the bank. I came from the 5, so for me this is a HUGE improvement in performance and features. Of course the lower price was gravy.

I had to return my se due to build quality issues. Rattles, lose buttons, rattles when it vibrated.. Bought a second hand 5s with no build issues what so ever. If only this had the a9 chip, it would be perfect. They really cut back on build quality on the se

I wish they wouldn't have gotten rid of the chamfered mirrored edges that's what made the phone really nice and now they advertise matte edges like its a feature and not a step back

Love the Se, slips right in the pocket and you are off for the day, when I get home I can simply toss the sim back into the 6s Plus or the NOTE 5 ( yes i use and like android also) but the Se was cheap and it fits in almost any pocket needed.. love the size!!!

I'm happy with my se.

Came from a larger phone, but the smaller size is way better in most phone related scenarios.

For serious web browsing I use a tablet, but for anything like short info on something when outside or when I don't want to use my tablet, it's fantastic.

I funnily have less problems to write on the smaller se keyboard, than on the bigger keyboard I used before. Less typos and faster typing.

For me it's the perfect phone size, though I would say anything up to 4,5 will be good.

Considering that one has to spend a lot less for the se than for the 6s, but is getting almost the same phone makes it a winner.

If the se series should continue, it's probably the best choice in apple's portfolio. But in the end it is a personal choice what you like. Thinking about what you get for your money the se is a great phone with probably the most secure mobile os for this time.

I'm very happy with my SE, much different then my 6 plus, but as noted typing will be as I get reacquainted with the smaller keyboard.

Some games, that I've played are better suited for the larger display, but that's understandable. Overall, I'm very happy with it.
So u did get the se...

After having my SE for 16 days, its been the only phone I've had in years that I am completely content with. Ever since the 6 line and up I've hated Apple's design. The 6, 6S and plus variants look ugly. They're too thin, too smooth and too hard to hold onto. The 5, 5S and SE are beautiful phones.

I went from a 6 to an SE and couldn't be happier. The 6 feels like a mini tablet now. I type faster on the SE. I get much better battery life than the 6 gave me. The extra GB of ram makes a world of difference in web browsing, which is the number one thing I do on my phone.

I can't think of anything I dislike about the SE.
