Ended up returning the SE before the 14 days were up after making some realizations:
  1. I really dislike yellowish looking screens.
  2. I really prefer the larger 4.7-inch screen when browsing the web or watching videos.
  3. I like having 3D touch.
  4. The one handed portability of the 6s isn't as bad as I was making it out to be.
  5. Why put myself through the hassle of having to sell my 6s on Craigslist instead of just keeping it?

Mine doesn't have a "yellowish screen" ... the yellowish screen is not a feature of the phone. 0_o

You don't need to covince yourself to keep the 6S. It has what you need and it's a fantastic phone.

Just got my Rose Gold 64GB yesterday at the Apple Store. I felt a bit silly doing so when I have a 128GB 6s but couldn't resist the idea of that small phone so easy to carry and work with one hand. Right now I have 14 days to play and decide but so far I am really enjoying it.

And you gonna keep both ?

For the time being. I love the screen size of the plus but like the phone size of the 6, I just can't make up my mind. The issue is the Plus hurts my hand because I tend to have my little finger under it holding it up and its heavy. I thought I would give my finger a break and just use a 6 for a while. Problem with the 6 is the screen is really too small for any web surfing IMO. I know what people must be thinking "you've got to have bigger problems in your life".

Do you have an iPad ?
If you don’t sell the 6s plus and get any ipad.
Web surfing on the 6s plus isn’t that great in my opinion

My setup is- SE is my main phone, 6 is a spare phone and iPad air 2 for web, videos etc.

Yep got a iPad and when using the 6 I find that I just use my iPad more often.

You will not return it. SE is the perfect phone, and the SE+iPad bundle is the best.

I agree a lot with this, and I find that not only do I have better productivity, but that I enjoy the browsing I do more when I take the time to use a device that's simply better suited for it. Even the 6s+ isn't a great web browsing experience, so the SE+iPad route - to me - is far better. For quick searches and such, the SE is great and gets the job done fast and easily. For actually spending time browsing, looking things up, etc, the iPad handles it and most other tasks. And for more intensive tasks, I have a MacBook Pro and monitor. It not only streamlined my setup, but also my usage to move to the SE/iPad/MBP setup.

I agree, I have the SE + iPad combination as well. I use for SE for phone calls, texts and quick web searches & browsing. Then I use the iPad for web browsing, media consumption and for most of my work needs and other tasks. Then if I have more intensive computer tasks I have my desktop. But my iPhone & iPad handles 95% of my daily computer needs just fine. Now if I could hook a mouse up to it for scrolling while web surfing I would be set

I think having an iPad is the key factor. I have an iPad 2, but it's just too slow now and can't keep up with basic tasks. I think if I had a more recent and capable iPad, I'd be much more likely to move back to a smaller phone.

Since I don't have one, it makes it a harder move. I really don't like browsing on a computer anymore, unless I really need it. It's just more comfortable to do casual stuff on my phone.

Probably. I've had an iPad since day 1 and have never had an issue with smaller screens. I also don't see larger screens as a real advantage, because the biggest phones don't feel like a good replacement for even the smallest tablets.

If Apple eventually gives the SE form 3D Touch and an updated screen, like the 6S, I'm not sure the size of the 6S would tempt me as much.

being able to split-screen multitask on a Pad is already a significant advantage. it's too bad it can't be done on my 6s+ like I can on my Note5 (and the past two Note models I've had before that). just because my thumb can reach most the entire SE screen and unless you swipe, it's still faster tapping with two thumbs on my 6s+ than tapping with one thumb on either my 5s or SE. but I understand it can at least be done. and how many people really prefer watching a movie on an even smaller screen especially a 4" ones? the SE has its place though.

when I'm out and about and sometimes don't want to carry a bag with me, a phablet is the perfect size for browsing, multitasking and enjoying media, but still be able to make calls. this would have to fit in my back pocket. since I use two platforms (Android & iOS), the SE fit my needs perfectly. I got tired of carrying two big phones with me (Note & 6s+). the SEv size is great as a music player and I prefer using it for making calls. the speed and power is much appreciated. but my reasons for why I have/use both go beyond all this.

How is a mouse easier than using your finger to scroll while surfing? Talk about a step backwards! I really don't get some people. All that technology you hold in your hand and you want a mouse.

Because your finger is not as precise as a mouse. Why do you think people hook up physical keyboard to their iPad, easier to type on. It's an easy concept to grasp. There's no reason to "get people" your idea is not what everyone believes in.

Yes, but a mouse is cumbersome and so old. Attaching a mouse to an iPad would look dumb. Not sure what you are doing that you need such an accurate pointer. Isn't that what an Apple Pencil is for? Each to their own.

I find it easier to use a mouse, this way I don't have to have the iPad so close to me and don't have to reach every time I have to scroll. I have good eye sight and have my iPad at least an arms length away from me. I have to stretch every time I need to scroll a page. Also a mouse is way easier to mouse your curser when you are typing or trying to cut and paste something. Specially when you are trying to get some work done. There are times where a mouse is slot easier than using your finger. But you can still use your finger like you do now. It would just be nice if they added mouse support like they allow you to hook a keyboard up to it. According to your logic the iPad has a built in keyboard so there should be no need to have another keyboard hooked up to it. But there is. All I would like is mouse support as well.

Well then, let's hope for mouse support in the future for you. Guess it can't hurt to have extra capabilities!
