heh. So last January (2004), there was a big ice storm that had the city shut down for a few days. My daughter was born in September '04.

Luckily, it's been more than 9 months since OUR Hawaii Trip (November '04, yes, with a two-month-old infant,) and no new surprises. ;-)

Couldn't resist posting more...
Pic from holloween, Patrick from Spongebob.
Our day at the beach in Long Island.

I like this thread. I'm away from my photo CD's out on a trip, but can't wait to post my two kids in here, along with all the beautiful others and I will, as soon as we return.

Wow, thanks for sharing. Joanna is a great little pianist. Good musicality and style for a beginner. I wish my beginning piano students could play that well...

Finally got back to access my photo CD's, so here are two of the three loves of my life....

My three.
Stuart (13), Kirsten (13), and Cameron (9).
They are in Australia. I am in UK (for now). Sometimes it hurts too much.
But I'll be with them for Christmas. :D
Had to search to find your good looking bunch. I'll bet you're going to have a great Christmas if you've been away. I travel a lot, too, so wish you the best. Oh, forgot to mention the ages and names of mine. Erin (20) and David (18).

Yep - I've been away for three years, with them each three months for two weeks. Last time was in June/July for two weeks. This will be the first Christmas with them for three years.

Your two look GREAT. In college / enjoying jobs?

BTW, where is 0° -14' 60 N, 78° -30' 0 W
(too lazy, but it is south of the equator)

Both in college in the U.S. and working part time to help pay their way. Yes, right on the Equator (15 minutes away more or less.)

Warm weather, then.
At the moment I am in Leeds (UK).
The foothpaths (sidewalks) are starting to freeze and get slidy.
I am lloking forward to getting back to warm weather for Xmas & 50th.

Mine are younger than yours. One in state high school (learning troubles and surprising and delighting us), one in an international high school, one in primary.

If you have travelled you will understand how difficult it is to be away.

Cheers.

Surprisingly, it's pretty cool at 10,000 ft. in the Andes Mountains and, I love cold weather, and snow which, if I read correctly, the U.K. is about to get a good snow in the next few days. Love it! Be well and safe.

Wow! I've dreamed of CA, SA and the Andes.
Don't want to intrude too much, but would like to know ... how do I say it ... how do you perceive / absorb / get on with .. the local culture? Obviously off topic, but very interested.

One kiddo... Hannah will be 3 weeks old on Friday. :D
