I can confirm. Just got mine for the 12 Pro. The fit is excellent. Very happy with both the product and the service. I now have three total and all three are great (the first two did not need a replacement).

Did you get them as replacements? If so, did you get any notice of them shipping? I’ve been waiting for a replacement, and I’d like to know how to confirm they shipped one to me.

I was told I would need to reach back out in a 2 weeks (as of last week) to remind them of the replacement.

I emailed them yesterday and they said the revised ones were just getting in and they’d ship it out shortly. Then I got a shipping notification today.

so what changes are being made?

Like already said got mine a few weeks ago and it fits perfect without my ESR screen protector but with that on the sides bulge out a little bit. Are they being made more case friendly if your screen protector is edge to edge?

better fit on the sides and improved buttons that stick out a little more and are more clicky is what I was told.

Yes, one of them was a replacement. The other two I got were from my first order and were fine. The replacement for the faulty one fits outstanding. The buttons are definitely more "clicky" and raised a bit higher so they're easier to push. As far as thin cases go, it doesn't get much better than this. Very pleased.

If you're not sure, you should just email them. That's how I got mine. Arrived very quickly.

As I said above, my first two were fine. If yours was fine out of the box then you have nothing to worry about.

I bought the Caudabe screen protectors and they fit great. I'm guessing they're a custom fit for their cases which would make sense. Maybe the ESR ones are too big for the case?

Good to know. My replacement shipped yesterday, after I emailed them to remind them to send me a replacement. Thanks for the good news!

What do you think about the screen protector from them? I thought about it, but the fact that they only offer one warranty replacement for only a year put me off. I think at that price, I’d be more comfortable with it with a limited lifetime warranty or at least 2 years of warranty replacements, with more than one replacement.

I have their screen protector on my 11 Pro and it is honestly the best screen protector I have ever purchased. It fits perfectly with the Sheath, to the extent that I forget that I have it on. It cost more than I would have liked to pay, but I have no regrets at all.

They don't include an install tray, right?

It does not include the tray. I struggled installing it with my 11 Pro but it was not because of not having the tray (I've never trusted or used the trays) but because the screen protector for the 11 Pro has a black border that requires perfection in order to not actually block the display. Mine ended up perfectly aligned with zero bubbles using the shower method.

You should not have this issue with the 12/12 Pro and it should be easy to apply as the 12 screen is flat and the Caudabe screen protector for the 12/12 Pro does not have the black border. I know as I actually bought the screen protector for the 12 but ended up returning it as I returned the 12 Pro I had bought (due to the piss yellow screen issue).

Just wanted to give an update on my experience of 1.5 week of use on the Lucid Clear on my 12 Pro Max. I used Sheaths on both my 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max before this and loved it and this is the find time I tried a clear case.

Initially, I found the case VERY slippery, and after some use, it still seems a bit too slippery for me, although I have not dropped it yet cause of that. I got the very first batch of it since I ordered a while ago before the 12 Pro Max came out. Initial fit was kinda finicky, I found that bottom lip just didn't clip in and formed a bit of a V shape as if the phone was a little too big for the case. So far I find myself having to re-clip the case or snug it back into the phone as it has wiggle room and can start to come out easily as I use and put it on my back pocket etc. I put a Belkin screen protector on it and find that with the added thickness of the screenprotector, the lip around the case is not providing as much protection. Since I am waiting on them to send me a revised batch I will wait and see how the fitment of that goes before I decide to switch back to the Sheath or get the iCarez glass protector. They said there is a RIGHT way to put the case on, to put the bottom in first then clip on the rest. Attached are pictures so you can see the cutouts and fitment. Not the best as I took them on my XS Max.

Thank you for the pictures and the writeup. Man, that is a beautiful case. I am going to be purchasing one but I'm waiting as long as I can for them to have the cases fitted just right. Is that the completely clear version or the graphite one? It looks a little dark.

It is the completely clear one. Here are brighter pictures. I have the Pacific Blue.

Can anyone confirm if the issues with the Sheath have been corrected in the latest shipments?

My replacement comes tomorrow, and I can let you know.

Correction: comes on Monday. I can’t keep my days straight anymore.

I did above. I have a 12 Pro Sheath from the "revised" shipment and the replacement is perfect. They also seem to have improved the buttons because there's a noticeable difference in how easy they are to push compared to the two others I have. (Those first two also fit fine right out of the box)

Beautiful photos. I've got the 12 Pro Lucid, not the 12 Pro Max, and mine has zero issues. Fits beautifully. I'm sure Caudabe will ship you a replacement. Agree with others that their support is great.

I'm surprised though. Like you I've always been a Sheath guy but I too wanted to try Lucid this year. I have to say I'm really, really enjoying the case. It fits like a glove and is pretty thin. Gets a little smudgy, but one wipe and all the smudges are gone. I also had a similar experience as you where at first it seemed really slippery. But I've gotten used to it over about two weeks of usage and I haven't gone back to the Sheath yet (which is saying something considering that's been my daily driver for years). I love being able to see the phone for once.

I have another thread asking about a good replacement for the old speck candyshell grip. I’ve seen people mention the Caudible Shealth a few times. Is the grip on it really good? My wife kind of balances the phone on her hand depending on what she is doing and so far nothing has been as good as the old candyshell grip. How is the grip on the back of the sheath?

Caudabe is offering 30% off for Black Friday with the code “BF2020”. I decided to get the Sheath based on all the recommendations. Looking forward to it!
