If the rumored specs turn out to be true, it will be pretty disappointing. So I'm not really expecting much, hoping to be proved wrong! I don't want to go Android.

Yahhhhh :)

Oh stop it!! Lol this is suppose to be a friendly thread! If he wants to praise apple let him!

Ironically it's people like him that give genuine fans of Apple products a bad name. And this blind faith they have in Apple actually does not benefit Apple in the slightest.

I agree apple has flaws, it's so annoying when people get mad and defensive when you bring it up! Like one of my other threads where I was complaining about iPhoto! Some people literally took a hissy fit!! Now those people are annoying!

All the people moaning that there won't be any surprises should perhaps stop spending half their lives trawling rumo(u)rs sites like this one :p

Looking forward to Tuesday, not least because it brings me closer to my upgrade :D

If I say I'm not particularly excited, will someone come to my house and hurt me!?

Your not the only one mate. The excitement wore off when all the leaks took place so there is nothing to be excited about.

What is it to be excited about? All these damn leaks told us everything we need to know about the two new iPhones. I will pass on upgrading this year, it's just not worth it coming from a 5. The 5 is good for another year for me. I wasted an upgrade last year and paid AT&T $250 early upgrade fee for a 4s that quickly got boring after 2 weeks, coming from an iPhone 4. Apple need to seriously start redesigning every year. For once I will be practical and not jump on the " I have to have the latest and greatest" wagon. I'm more excited of ios 7 and third party apps updating to ios 7 more than anything.

Indeed! Same people who check this forum probably 100 times a day for the latest rumor/leak complain that there won't be any suprises left for the 10th of September

I would say majority of people who use iPhones or intend to buy an iPhone on the next few months probably have no idea the new iPhones will be introduced on the 10th. The suprise may belong to them.

If Apple has taught me anything, it's to always expect disappointment from their keynotes.

For real man..
I was procrastinating doing my paper today and went on youtube and somehow ended up watching the iphone introduction and the iphone 4 introduction.(yep)
Man those were legendary....
Good old days

I've wondered myself. After the iOS stuff, what really could be next?
What could the next big thing be?
Wearables maybe, but to do that right I figure the big thing is this:
True voice recognition, by way of cloud and those massive underused data farms Apple has begun to deploy. Natural language to use computers, a la Star Trek etc.
No body has come even remotely close yet, perhaps it's five or ten years out?

:apple:Home

Automation and controlling that software and experience as a whole. Run through your Apple TV set or some sort of wall panelling (think thinness and flexibility of Shamesungs flexible display). They just have to make it affordable. A seamless link between home, work, the car, entertainment, appliances..

Hurry up future!

Just bought Apple TV 3
Can I use it to watch keynote live?
If so, how?

Yes, you can (If Apple will do a live stream of the event)

On the day of the event, you will see that a new icon have appeared on it.
Something like this.....

So excited. A company is going to present a phone or two, and a new mobile OS.

Couldn't be more excited, ever.

/s

Very excited.

so much to potentially see, new ad video for a store lol and new camera upgrade and a fingerprint scanner.... possibly a much needed update to maps and Siri to actually make it useful in the UK

and iunno just other great stuff weve not even thought about yet

besides who doesnt like white background promotional videos with Jonathan Ive in a tight short sleeve shirt with a low neck line haha

So, for all of you that are saying there is nothing to look forward to, are you still planning on watching it? If so, WHY???? If you already know everything and don't enjoy the official unveiling... honestly, why waste your time?

Am super excited too. However I wish Apple brings out IO7 for everyone to download on the same day on tuesday. However that wont happen :(

Do you have to be excited to watch the live stream? I personally won't watch the event.

You don't have to be excited, no. However, for those of you complaining about how boring they are yet will still watch... I don't understand why. It's not like you can't just read an article later on giving you the highlights.

It is like I wanted to watch a movie, but my friend already told you all the plots. All the sudden I lost the excitement of watching that movie. But I will still choose to go watch that movie.
