Sold my 3G for $280.00 locked.

As sad Even IF I could get $400.00 (which is a reach) for my 3Gs, I could NOT live without it for 2-3 weeks. No way.

I'll just roll the dice and sell it after I have the new one in hand.

16GB 3GS for £401 incl shipping (unlocked warranty replacement). Now let the ebay/paypal gouging begin. Will probably only see £300 of it after all is said and done. I really wish we could use craigslist here in the UK but in my experience its filled with scammers wanting me to send it to an aunt in Nigeria. *sigh*

How much should I sell my 3GS 32GB Black iPhone Unlocked 3.1.2 for?

It DOES have a slight crack on the bottom right corner of the device on the front but it doesn't affect the display whatsoever.

I would figure at least $500 considering it is 32GB and Unlocked but I'd like second opinions if available. :)

You might get lucky for that price, but a crack is a crack to many people and Apple won't fix that.

Sold my 3GS 32GB black today on eBay for $450.

I have a 3GS 32GB bought new on June 19th 2009. Always kept in a case, with screen protector. All the water indicators are still white.

What should I get for it?

I myself have a 32GB Black iPhone 3GS as well. It has been in a case and has had screen protector on it since day one (June 19th 2009).

It seems like $450-500 is what I could get for it? I've never sold an iPhone before, and if I can't get a good price on upgrading to the new iPhone, I might sell it. I live in Canada and Rogers isn't the best when it comes to upgrading before your eligible.

Is it better to sell it before the next iPhone releases/is announced?

I don't know who misses my iPhone more, me or my 4yr old because he can't play angry birds. :D

Listed my 3GS on craiglis today: jailbroken, in mint condition (full zagg shield since day 1), with a Speck Candyshell case for $400 and had people calling me within minutes. Had the cash in hand within an hour of posting it. I didn't even have enough time to make an eBay listing before this thing was spoken for. I'm in orange county. I'm using a moto razr in the meantime, like I did last year while waiting for the 3GS.

I'm with Rogers aswell and in the same situation. I say don't sell it unless you are sure Rogers won't screw you up, and knowng Rogers they probably will have some stupid strings attached to the upgrade

I plan to sell mine after purchasing the new iPhone. Have done that with the last two models. I lose a little $$ ,but I get enough to buy the new model with minimal, if any, cash outlay from me.

I am borrowing a Blackberry from a friend for at least a month here in the next few days, then I'll post it on ebay unlocked :) i am just thankful i will still have some type of smart phone to use until its release

What's worth more nowadays? A refreshed swap from the Apple store, or a relatively pristine-conditioned iPhone (aka the one I have now)? BTW, it is a 16GB white 3GS, unlocked on 3.1.2 and on 05.11.07 baseband. I don't think there is an unlock for 3.1.3 (probably what Apple would swap out to) for the 3GS, which is supposed to come out soon?

Seems many phones on craigslist and eBay have more 3.1.3 (jailbroken-only phones). Which seems to be the better route to go, as a seller? :)
