Looking forward to impressions. I already have a couple cases and haven’t pulled the trigger on the air jacket yet (since late out the gate as usual).

I’m considering the Matte finish and looking forward to impressions as well. The Matte finish has grip and should hide scratches better than the clear.

Directly from the PowerSupport website. The lip is the "non Apple store" version if that makes sense? So there really isn't any lip. I'm using an Anker screen protector and it's flat with the lip.

No problem! I went with the matte version. More slippery than the glass or a skin, but not bad at all.

Dammit, now I feel like I need the matte version for the X, too. Looks great in those pics.

My clear case came yesterday and it’s typical PS. Precise cutouts and fits well. Seems to be easier to remove this time, btw.

So there's just an open space above the lightning port? If so, mine is going back. Actually, I'll try to cancel my order before it even ships.

The whole point of the JACKET was encasing the phone with precise cutouts. At least that's what I took away from their past cases. Disappointed.

Looks like you came around on the design compromises? I didn’t mind it so much last year, but would be lying if I said I wasn’t disappointed with them sticking to the same formula for the X. Will be holding off to see the new cases they’re working on.
 
Fultonjt, it looks really nice on a silver one,like a propper matte finnish.
What about camera cutout?Is it fully covered ?
 
Just got mine... not a fan. First time owner so didn’t know what to expect. Its just an incredibly hard piece of plastic thats sippery and creaky. Very difficult to get off.

Any recommendations for something thin and rubbery?

Do you mean the case is too big? Mine fits fairly tight.

So...funny enough my colleague just received hers about 20 mins ago (she was so pleased with the 7+ PJ I recommended she grabbed one too). Hers is a touch too big. There is a tapping noise when she types on the phone from it not fitting tight enough.
 
I gotta say that after using the X AJ for awhile, I am noticing some creaking. At first I thought it was on the side, but then I noticed that if you press the back of it, it seems like the phone won’t sit flush with the case. I can clearly see movement with the case when I press down on the back of my phone. Same thing with my wife’s AJ.

It isn’t super noticeable, but it is super annoying. Contacted PS and I need to get them some pictures. Hopefully this isn’t something that they can’t/won’t fix. I have a sneaking suspicion that this has to do with them making the AJ more user-friendly, aka not such a pain to remove.

Yeah I came around. Like you I’m not thrilled with the compromises, but the positives outweigh the negatives. I went naked with the 7+ but with these glass backs, I’m back onboard with PS.

I mean when you use your thump finger to press the case area near the power button , the plastic will squeeze
 
We've got really nice pics of an Air Jacket matte with silver iphone X posted by fultonjt,anyone got it on space grey IP?
Mine has being shipped,but it takes about a week until it arrives to Europe :(

Gotcha. Mine does not do that. My colleague emailed PS yesterday and a replacement has already shipped. Maybe send them a note if you haven't already?
 
Nope, not happy. Always loved Power Support products. Had Air Jacket(clear) on my iPhone 6 for the last 3 years. Never wanted anything else. Just got my X and put the new Air Jacket(clear) on. Horrible! Feels cheap, creaks and pops. Not a good fit at all. I am very disappointed. Called PS last night and left a message. Hopefully they will respond with a new better fitting case? No, I did not receive a remover too, didn't need it went on and came off easier than previous models. Probably why as someone said it doesn't fit as well.

Oh, and wow! the finger prints were awful as well with this case and SG phone. I think I may ask PS to send me the matte if they are willing to replace my current clear.

I´ve bought the smoke and the fingerprints are awful too...
