Anyone getting the newly announced XS/MAX/XR Battery Case?

So I decided to order one for my XS Max and currently in preparing for shipment. But likely I'll get it on Tuesday, 22. As that's what it's currently set to.
Yeah! It feels pretty chunky. There's a noticeable difference without the case on.
A ton heavier for me. Gonna try it a few days to see if I can get used to it. Hate how much lint this thing picks up.
Happy to report that the case fits the Max with a skin on the phone. Also, with the case attached, it fits in my BMW wireless charging slot and a charges as designed. Win all around
Zero issues. CarPlay has always been rock solid, and it's wireless!
Just found out the weight of the cases
XS is 3.46 oz (compared to 6.24 oz phone), XS Max is 3.81 oz (compared to 7.34 oz phone)
So around 50% of the weight of the phone themselves.

So was yours also dead when you got it from Apple. Mine was dead and I can't remember ever getting a device from apple that didn't have some charge in it.
Yep, no charge at all. I agree, I don't think I've ever had that happen before.
I wish it was made out of leather and not silicone. I was never a fan of silicone because it’s a lint magnet.
Ordered and received yesterday.
The weight after you insert phone is pretty bad, makes you use phone less.

I was at my local store yesterday and did not see them.
I'm going to check them out when they hit stores.
To anybody using one with an X, what is the sound quality of the speakers and mic like. Any issues with people being able to hear you or muffled sound?

On the online Apple Store it only shows ship to store with a date of Thursday for delivery.

FedEx just dropped mine off this morning. Silver iPhone XS Max with black case. The case came completely dead. Charging the case is pretty fast,it will charge the case and phone at the same time which is nice. The case doesn’t add a ton of bulk or weight but I’m also coming from an otter box defender so that may be why. The case does offer front lip protector so you can place the phone screen down. Overall the case fits and feels really nice without adding a ton of weight. Cell and wireless signal has show NO decrease since placing the case. (Apple battery cases has passive antennas).
My Black XS Max case came at 650am lol so its charging now. Im thinking they come with no power due to shipping requirements for batteries maybe?
So far I’m testing charging with USBC to Lighting cable to see how fast it will charge.
I run an esim and regular sim on Verizon and thus far I haven’t seen any interference based issues and have full bars with case on or off and when charging.
I noticed my Mophie charging pad that has grooves on it you have to find the sweet spot when I do wireless charging no big deal just something I noticed right away
