the Back and sides are the most important parts for me. Anyone get some pics of those?

EDIT: **** it, I just bought the invisible shield, hopefully it won't take too long to arrive.
I think i'm gonna do Invisible Sheild and Power Support Glass screen protector for daily use, and throw on some sort of case (iskin revo?) for when I'm going out/going to class (more likely to drop it)
 
I ordered mine on the 11th and paid like $20 for 2nd day air so I was hoping to have it by Tuesday or Wednesday the latest. I called them yesterday to check the status because I have not received any shipping email yet. He said my order would not ship until the 25th.. I thought he was kidding. So I basically said, so i paid $50 for 2nd day air for it to take 2 weeks to ship to me. That is ridiculous. I understand the demand is probably high right now for this product but they should have some kind of warning about how long it will take instead of making it look like they have plenty of them and expecting to get yours based on the shipping you purchased. Boy am I glad I did not pay for the next day air......
 
July 2nd - Received July 12. Free shipping. I didn't install it yet as I'm going to exchange the phone.
 
For those that have received the order, is the invisible shield on it's paper backing, flat or kind of wavy/bubbly?

I've ordered in the past and it was flat, this one, however, has a few places where it's kind of folded up. I can't tell if this happened before or after they cut it. I'm worried that if this happened prior to cutting, then the shield may not fit perfectly. That is, if the bubbly parts can be flattened out at all.
 
Best Buy now has the front invisibleshield in stock for $14.99. A better choice than waiting for Zagg.
 
Any more reviews on the front though? That's all I really care about... doesn't really matter if the back gets scratched up, not like that'll effect anything
 
I ordered mine in late June and still no sign of it today (and no notification of shipping). I emailed and asked to cancel and call it coincidence, I magically received a shipping email with tracking number 5 hours later. I would bet that since they are shipping some number of units out every day they'd rather bubble requested cancels to the top and get them out immediately to save the sale. It looks like some of the cancel requests other people have posted have said "we'd love to cancel but it just happened to ship out today" so either they are moving cancel requests to the top or my tin foil hat is too tight. :D

If they did cancel I was going to go with BodyGuardz since it seems like a better deal and rated slightly higher by iLounge. Regardless, I'm glad they're on the way!

I placed a pre-order for 5 full body iPhone 3G skins on the 12th of June and I am rather irritated that others who ordered much later than me have received theirs already even though there is no sign of my order. I have complained to Zagg and tried to cancel my order, but they are now claiming to have dispatched it on the 13th of June. This is utter rubbish of course because the product had not even gone into production by then!

This company is taking a minimum of 48 hours to respond to my emails, and I have lost faith in them completely.
 
I cancelled my pre order the other day because it STILL had no shipped. Meanwhile I got a best skin ever and it already shipped within a day. Zagg dropped the ball.
 
Same thing here, I ordered 2 July, they replied the next day saying it had shipped. Then I got that email which was sent last week saying orders would be shipped latest 25 July.

So I cancelled my order this past Tuesday and received an email yesterday from Zagg saying that it was too late my order was already shipped. What a coincidence.

This appears to be standard practice for Zagg. They send an automated email the day after an order has been placed even if it hasn't shipped. There have been many examples of this happening reported on these forums. It's dishonest and unacceptable.

I ordered mine yesterday. I'm guessing you did as I did and selected *free* shipping. Did you notice that option specified *no tracking number*? "If you chose our Free Shipping method you will NOT receive any tracking information or a shipping confirmation email."

The 14th? What time? If they had plenty of supply it still wouldn't be unreasonable for them to ship the next day. SO you're whining about not getting an item in 2 days from an online order? What businesses always meet that standard, even not following a huge product launch?

And if you haven't received an email from them for at least order confirmation, check (1) your spam filter, (2) that you entered it properly, and (3) try contacting them. Be an adult, not a cr*baby.

applied it this am to my 3G iPhone.

not impressed with the fit, very tricky around the sides where the vol and ringer switches are. got it fitting reasonably well in the end though.

the front shield is a whole different story... it looks terrible.
the screen was dust/fingerprint free and I installed v carefully (and apparently the front is meant to be easier), however there are terrible lines/streaks across the front screen. these look even worse if the phone's screen has a white background as the marks are accentuated.

will wait for it to 'cure' overnight, but am certain these marks are there to stay.


I'll see what it looks like after a few days, but suspect I'll be taking them up on their 30 day guarantee. :(

The lines and streaks on the screen should go away with in an overnight or 24 hour time frame. Thats how it was with my previous IS on my iPhone.

If you are going to start shooting, then you should be sure of your target.

The person that you are criticising was complaining about an order that was placed over a month ago (on the 14th of June), not the 14th of July!

Before you leap in and flame someone next time it might be an idea to read the post more carefully!
 
I ordered on July 4th, emailed them yesterday wanting to cancel and like others, received an email today saying it was shipped. But that's after I placed an order for a bodyguardz yesterday. So i'll be stuck with 4 shields soon. :)

my point is, if it's been a while, email them saying you want to cancel and most likely, you'll get urs soon.
