Anyone received their ZAGG InvisibleShield?

The 14th? What time? If they had plenty of supply it still wouldn't be unreasonable for them to ship the next day. SO you're whining about not getting an item in 2 days from an online order? What businesses always meet that standard, even not following a huge product launch?

And if you haven't received an email from them for at least order confirmation, check (1) your spam filter, (2) that you entered it properly, and (3) try contacting them. Be an adult, not a cr*baby.

and no I didnt recieve a tracking # I forgot that free shippers dont get one...but at least give me an email...I recieved no word from these people..luckily I did get it in this afternoons mail and I applied the film already
 
I received mine. The front fits great but the back was a nightmare and I've ended up throwing it away ! The corners just didn't work at all :mad:

weird, it was the opposite for me, although the back was V tricky, does not fit properly around the vol switch and the chrome bezel not fully covered.

the front was awful, covered in lines/marks not caused by incorrect fitting.

I emailed a v helpful lady who represents Zagg and they're sending me out a new one, will fit another... give it two weeks and either keep or send back for the 30 day refund.

same here dude, turned the iphone on to use it this morning (let it "cure" for 12 hrs) and I have these god awful streaks going down the screen I should of left the one on that came with my exo skin case:(
 
ordered july 7th, still haven't received :/
emailed to cancel them over 2 weeks ago, got email back that it was shipped...yet i still haven't received it...

I've already bought the power support front cover (which trust me is a lot better than IS, since i've used IS before for a previous phone)....wish they would just cancel/refund and not ship instead of telling me it's already shipped
 
New Design

A little FYI....

Zagg has completely redesign the 3g Iphone skin.

The front shield now folds over front to the bezel and the back now has better corners. There are still some very small gaps, but it's much better than the original design. The camera cut-out is much smaller as is the home button on the front.

If you have the original design, I would contact them to get the new design.
 
I applied 3 back shields to my iPhone.

3!!! and all of them peeled and got dusty.
I emailed them about it and about 5 days ago I got 3 new shileds in the mail.
I put them in my drawer and figured I'd ebay them later as there was no way I was going through all that again!

I just checked and they are COMPLETELY different.
gonna re-install with one of the new ones now
 
How can you tell if you have the original iPhone 3G InvisibleSHIELD or the redesigned iPhone 3G InvisibleSHIELD? I haven't received mine yet, but I ordered mine through a local Apple store (not the official Apple store). They have been waiting at least 2 weeks now for a new shipment ... but is there an easy way to identify if you have the redesigned one? I certainly hope after waiting all this time that I receive the redesigned one...... :cool:
 
I asked for a refund because I have the old design. It would cost $3.95 for a domestic or European order. Thanks to their lifetime guarantee, I don't have to pay for the new shield. However, it won't matter because I'm going to lose money anyway by sending the old shield back to the USA from Belgium.

I'm keeping it.
 
All is the new zagg design better now to put on ? im waiting for mine to come in, just wanted to make sure its not as bad as the first 3G release shield.

The new design is much easier to apply. It took less then 1/2 the time and looks much better too.

For all of those who received the old version; I called and complained about the corners peeling up on my original one and they sent me the revision free of charge. They even covered the shipping, since they considered the original design flawed.

If you don't know which version you have, look at the pics on their site. It shows the new cut.
 
ZAGG Invisible Shield delivery problems

Today has been 11 business days since I ordered my ZAGG IS. I was on hold for 13 minutes before it was my turn to talk to a Customer Service person. At first I was told politely that they were upgrading their shipping process (they encountered an SKU generating glitch) and that she had no idea when I could expect it. (What??) Upon my insisting "politely" that this was silly and that there must be an answer I was put on hold for a minute and then told that my order would be expedited immediately and upgraded to overnight shipping status the next day.

I just wanted to share this info although I am not comforted by the fact that a lot of folks in this Mac Forum community have had regular ZAGG CS issues.

Zagg Is

I have an LG VENUS phone and that's what I got the ZAGG IS for.

I left mine turned off for a few hours. Do what you think is best for you.

Use ample liquid supplied on the shield as instructed before applying the IS. Make sure you spray your fingers too, and respray them if they dry. It makes a big difference!

Also, the instructions say that the bubbles will disappear within a few days. Although you should try your best to get them all out. The overall look of the IS after a few days when the last couple of tiny, tiny bubbles were gone and it dried completely was beautiful.

The best advice is to FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS!!!! Take your time.

good advice above. but a lot of people who use IS either love it or hate it. hate it because it has a "different" look to it vs a glare free one. some complain that it leave a tiny crease which in turn annoys you when you look at the screen, i guess you see a line...

i've heard its VERY difficult to apply. and that the wetter your hands are and the IS is the better it is to work with. but to be careful not to push all the water towards the earpice and home button.

also you have to apply it just right if you plan on using the Slider case or else the Slider will pull it off when put on.

I'm considering the IS because it seems to be the strongest out of them all. we'll see

I'm a pretty big idiot, but after watching the videos a few times applying the touchscreen shield to my 3G took me about 5 minutes, and it works/looks great. It was pretty easy.
