There is nothing compelling enough about this new device that would entice me to upgrade.

I had planned to upgrade from my S0 SS as this one can now make a real difference to what I carry around, especially when out running. Unfortunately it's only on available on one carrier in the UK so that's me out for however long the exclusivity period is.

Had a Stainless Steel Original model since launch day, 2015. Love it. Was all set to upgrade as starting to yearn for GPRS.

And then I saw the selection of Series 3.

Firstly; I HATE the red crown button. Seems a really odd, non-neutral colour to stick on the side of a watch.

Next, I want Stainless steel. I don't think the regular case looks particularly nice. I love my shiny current watch. It looks smart. If I want that in a S3 watch, I have to buy a Hermes edition.

And Hermes all come with the cellular option, which I have no interest in whatsoever (and is exclusive to a network I've no interest in joining FWIW).

So, it's a no-sale for me. I love most Apple products because they're the perfect marriage of technical functionality and good looks. I think they've dropped the ball here.

Sticking with my old watch and waiting for the Series 4...

I might once I find out if there is an additional monthly fee for the cellular . . . but the red button is a turnoff

Day 1 pre order coming up.

Well done Apple and the variety of bands is getting overwhelming!

FWIW, You can buy a non-Hermes AW3 in steel. It's on the apple website.

Definite upgrade for me from series 0. Probably the black stainless steel one with cellular.

I have a series 0, so I'm most likely going to upgrade for the non LTE series 3 version.

I'm thinking of maybe waiting till Nov. when there are more sales & promos, but I think I'd like to upgrade.

until smartwatches reach at least 1 month battery on single charge I am not buying any ...

enough is enough

Why? Do you not charge your phone every day or two, anyways?

this is a watch not a phone ... my Rolex watch works without any batteries continuous ...

we squeezed a PC inside phones , leave the watches alone please or make them last so we accept them.

Your Rolex watch also only has a complication or two.

As an owner of 4 Rolex watches (which are now sold) and Omegas and others, I'm excited for this new LTE version. In the off chance I'm on a long camping trip without power, I can bring a G-Shock, or put the AW in power save mode.

During normal use, charging every night isn't a big deal.
