Sold my 42mm SS S0 a month ago and I don't miss it as much as I thought I would. Definitely upgrading to an LTE Watch when its available, especially if carriers will put it on a payment plan.

I assume we'll see the standard $129 LTE upcharge? ~$478, $528, $678 $728, $1,378, $1,428?

They just covered it in the keynote... starting at $329 for non-cellular; $399 for the cellular version.

The new watch looks really nice, but I'm more excited about the new watchOS. I don't need LTE, so I'm going to see if I can get another year out of my Series 0. That will mostly depend on how well it runs the new OS. The new nylon sports loop looks good.

Big huge MEH on the AW3, no reason for me to upgrade from my series 2 at all. It will be a nice upgrade for those on 0/1 though. I guess there's not much more they can do with a watch. Oh well, at least it's a relief knowing I don't have to spend any more money this year.

and i just got a series 2 early this year so won't be buying a series 3. might go for a series 4. but these things are pricey and i can't be spending that much annually on a new watch with my budget. it would be different if i were after the sport model, but i prefer the stainless.

I didn't see the presentation yet but from the tweets I am reading, I am all in on the Series 3.

Nails it for all my needs of running with no phone, streaming music to AirPods, and faster functionality if that was an enhancement. Surprised the price isn't that bad either.

Why is there no Stainless Apple Watch 3?!?! Heartbroken.

I'm in. These days,
So only the Hermes comes in stainless?

Point being that they really only showed the price of the entry level models. There are two new ceramics, these Hermes steel, and likely the usual steel variants that we're waiting for prices on.

Ohh I see. I actually just checked the website, all the new prices are up. Woohoo!!! I'm beyond happy. They completely ignored them in the keynote.

Yeah, I was worried that wouldn't offer LTE in the smaller 38mm size, so I'm happy as well.

I think it's just to show that it's a series 3 cellular version. Other than that nobody would know the difference if they do at all.
Feels like a way for people who spend the extra $ to feel special, because there's really no other reason.

I'll probably upgrade, but with these new price hikes for the cellular Watch and iPhone X, yearly upgrading is going to get pretty expensive...

Well, after the keynote, I think I'll just stick with getting a surely cheap S2 for now. I'm around enough places that have wifi that LTE isn't a huge deal for me.

I see the watch in the same way I do the iPad. Something that doesn't really need upgrading yearly, more like every two to three years. That's just me though. Nobody has a clue what version you own at a glance and if the incremental updates aren't useful then there's little point I think.

The iPhone X was nice, but not nearly enough that I would consider it over the 8 to be honest.
