iPod touch Anyone's touch shipped from Apple Online Store Yet?

Mine has shipped and it is engraved. I ordered my Touch on September 15. It was Prepared for shipment for 3 days, then FedEx had said it had shipped a day before it was actually shipped (Said it shipped on the 25th, but did not actually ship until the 27th). I called apple and they gave me $10 back for the inconvenience. I live in Nashville, TN and after shipping from Kunshan to Shanghai China, it shipped to Anchorage, then to Indianapolis, and now it rests here at the local FedEx facility. What I am upset about is I don't get it until Monday, but at least I am getting it so I shouldn't be complaining.

maybe, because I live in the US, and we have always had that option. maybe it is cus of CA. but again, they attempt delivery 3 times, and they leave a notice of next delivery. AND ACTUALLY, IF THEY LEAVE THE NOTICE< U CAN SIGN THAT AND LEAVE IT ON THE DOOR IF I AM NOT MISTAKEn, IF U R NOT GUNNA BE THERE FOR A SECOND TIME. So good luck!

Me to I even tried the us site its probably just cuz we ordered from Canada
We can make our own note.

lol, yea, tht would work too. u can also cal your local branch and ask for a scheduled delivery, for a time when you will be home, and that way u will def get it, i am pretty sure u can do tht.
 
9C739 - those are the first few characters to my serial number. Does this mena I have a week 39 ipod!?

Thats so not fair I ordered on the 7 and i got a week 38 so by ordering after me you got a better one and it shipped at the same time.
Thats why I complained and got 150 dollar credit lol.

lol. sry, I guess I picked a good time. okay, well, the flickr set will be ready in a few. it shows where to get the invoice, as well as the serial #. I am sorry, the page wit my serial number looks a little bad, but you get the point

It would look that way, lucky guy you got a 39 AND on the same plane as mine. My Serial # is 1C738*****. I believe the screen issues were resolved for WW38 models, is that a correct assumption?
 
I ordered on the 21st and I'm getting a week 38. . .i hear it's a good week

yea, both WEEK 38-39 are very good weeks of production. All problems were solved before week 38, and week 39 I think some updates were added that week 38 didnt not have pre assembled, and I am pretty sure all updates are software, no hardware. ANd for all who want to see their serial number, here is the show again. it is a little out of order. when the show starts, after seeing the first page, click the LEFT arrow.

and the number before C, I beleive, means the version of software installed, because I think they updateed it last week on itunes, with 7.4.3 iTunes

thts odd. why such different times? hmm, idk, thts FedEx for u, lol, but most likely they will be on the same plane, because they have the same batch order number, and same status, and are the same product. so, its still cool, i can't get over tht, its coincidence. and we r lucky too, again, one of the very last shipments until later next week!

When did your status change to shipped? Mine changed between 10 and 1.
