I'm going to say it's just iTunes. Apple Store Gift Cards are non-iTunes-specific, and iTunes cards are iTunes-specific.

When I get my email saying I won...seriously, well Apple will give you 3 days to reply to their first contact, otherwise the next person gets it.
I'm a little upset about the whole thing. I was waiting until the last minute to download twenty five apps quickly. When I finally tried to do it I had to sign a new terms of service and then the session kept saying it timed out. So I had to restart iTunes. Right at that time the app store hit a billion. effffffff
If you let the page just sit there counting away, you probably saw rollover long after it actually happened.
I refreshed after leaving the tab open for several hours and the counter was a whole 3 million higher than before the refresh.
So ... when the count reached about 30,000 before rollover, I started downloading FREE things randomly.
Meaning? I had a better chance of winning than many of you.

Tallest is rarely wrong on what he posts on. Apparantly you refuse to look into his MP and mini threads....
although he was wrong about the mini update and he was adamant that the leaked image was fake* and was very hostile to those who believed it was real. I wouldn't say he's rarely wrong. I've called him out on quite a few things, yet he still posts BS as fact, despite me asking him several times to stop.
