THIS picture shows you that its fake. Look at that reflection - it is distorted. It wouldnt be this way with the original iphone, their reflections are always perfect (its in the details, but being an industrial designer, I know that it is not that easy to achieve clean reflections on surfaces). These are the kind of details a knockoff cant reproduce, you need top notch manufacturing for that ****. Compare it to the field& Volk leak:

Perfect reflection all the way without distortion.

Also the Music icons gradient is clearly flipped

This cannot be fake. There are around 7 videos of a person interacting with the Health app, the camera app, the home and lock screen, App Store, Settings, Touch ID. Everything behaves in perfect iOS fashion. No single person or even group could replicate the software that well, and there are no indications of fake hardware or video manipulation. I don't think many people are questioning the veracity of the software, but the hardware must be real if it's loaded and fully operating iOS 8. Think, people.

It's the real deal, guys, get over it.

I think the chances of this being fake are probs around 1%.

Not sure if this person is serious. It should take anyone at most 1/2 second to realize that the only likely explanation for the backward image is simply a mirror.

I can't imagine how someone would need to do frame by frame analysis of the video to conclude that.

Yeah or even a reversed video. Every year when we see the real deal before the events everyone says that it's just Apple throwing a ruse but it's bound to happen. I'm interested to see it in better lighting/in person.

Also the 4.7 looks MUCH bigger than I thought it would. Wish Apple brought in the bezels more but if the battery is bigger because of it, I don't mind.

It is fake, I can feel it. :D

Lol.

I don't really like what I see.
It looks like this thing is going to be massive. To large for me. Specially the top and bottom bezel. Somehow other brands have "smaler" phones with larger screens.

The back is ridiculous. Those rubber bands. Compare to any other Apple product and then look again. But I didn't like the back of the 5(S) as well, so.

But you can actually only tell, when you have one in your hand. So I will see what I think of it then.

And the space on the homescreens.... Why, what are you doing with it. Put icons on it. Long time Apple user. But I think Windows nailed the homescreen layout. Never worked on one. But I can see it working, those live tiles rather than icons.

just my two seconds. Very curious for the 9th, for what I've heard.

are you people wearing some skinny jeans like a girl or what. god i had a note 3 for a while due to temporary insanity of leaving ios but even that fit.

ok kid, calm down… Not skinny jeans nor carpenters/cargo/etc . Right down the middle CK relaxed fit straight jeans. I don' think a note (IDK if the 3 is smaller) would fit conformably in any normal sized pants when not standing up and also not look like you have something bulky in your pants.

Sorry, it is fake. Just take a look at some the arguments presented by an experienced leak handler: https://twitter.com/stagueve/with_replies

Those bezels are huge by todays mobile phone front panel standards. I mean, just look at LG G3, it has almost razor-like bezels...

You don't know what the source for the reflection really is. Could be a strangely shaped lamp. Plus, this phone is curved, unlike 4/4s/5/5s

So what are you going to say tuesday night when they reveal that this is actually the real deal?

My fault, I should have been more clear. I meant in comparison to competitor devices. Bigger doesn't mean much if you aren't improving display resolution, it'll just look stretched out. As for your analogy, it doesn't make sense in this instance. For the 4" 5/5S that's a reasonable assumption, but for a 4.7" and 5.5" display, you're absolutely going to notice. These may seem small but in relation to a mobile device it's relative, like stating a 480P 37" image will be fine on a 1080P 55" LED LCD, it won't.

But they are improving resolution? The same 326 ppi screen would yield a higher resolution on a larger display, while still being 'retina' according to Apple.

I'm not sure what you're analogy is at the end - but if you have two screens with the same ppi but different sizes, all the content will be the same size but showing much more.

Real deal: the details, finish and Touch ID, also live clock icon shows the same time as the display on top: 21:42

arguments ≡ babble
experienced leak handler ≡ attention whore

Say what you want, but can you explain why Apple hasn't taken any action to remove the pictures/videos over the hours they've been up? I didn't think so...

I have noticed that the video showing the alleged Iphone 6 being unlocked has some flaws in it.
These are

1) the time is back to front
2) when the keypad is bought up, the numbers are back to front
3) the status bar is back to front, i.e the battery symbol is on the left and the network signal strength is on the right
4) the apple logo on the back is back to front
5) the camera and sensor on the front are back to front as well
6) the buttons on the left(volume, mute) are on the right and the power button is now on the left.

I think that either this is a fake that while well put together has some basic flaws in it that would fail to convince anyone who looks at it properly. Or it is real and the user was holding it in front of a mirror and just failed to capture the camera they were using to film it on.

So I think that as far as I can see, this could be the real deal as I can not see anything (yet) that lends me to see it as a fake.
I am still looking though and will get back to you if I notice anything

I think its obviously recorded infront of a mirror and am confident this is going to be the real thing..wish he showed the black version instead.
